He weighed 8 lbs and measured 20 1/2 inches long. His Apgar score was a 9 both times - nice strong little guy! Everyone is doing well. Happy 8th Anniversary and 38 1/2 weeks! We celebrated our 8th anniversary with a lovely luncheon at Lightfoot and then did some shopping. Wyatt spent the afternoon with Cathy, Kayla and Vivian. 8 more to go!

What's cookin' in Ypsi. Sunday, November 25, 2012. Friday I was still off work and not planning to attend any Black Friday sales. It was also the First Unitarian Universalist Congregation. Of Ann Arbor week to volunteer at Alpha House. Carrot Souffle isn't a traditional souffle that raises, it's more of a casserole. Even folks who hate carrots rave about this dish. It's been called 'warm ice cream' in the past. 2 lb carrot, peeled and sliced, then steamed and cooled. 1/2 C butter melted. 1 t baking powder.

It is now past midnight but there is too much on my mind to keep me from sleeping. Some sweets should help. 3-4 pieces of bread (any bread, as long as it's plain). 2/3 cup of milk. 1/3 cup of light cream or half and half. 1/4 tsp of salt. Few drops of vanilla extract. Ingredients for strawberry sauce:. 10 strawberries, diced roughly. 1 cup of water.
