What's Cook'n?: Ginger Milk

http://www.whatscookn.blogspot.com/2007/06/ginger-milk.html

Food for thoughts. Food for life. Food for love. And for the love of food. Wednesday, June 6, 2007. Ginger Root (Buy minced gingers at your local supermarket). Diced the ginger root and put it in a sauce pan with sugar and water. Bring it to boil then reduce the heat to simmer. Continue cooking till you can smell the ginger. Turn off the range. Add milk to the sauce pan. Take out the diced ginger root. I prefer to use whole milk because of it's rich taste. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Food for thoughts. Food for life. Food for love. And for the love of food. Tuesday, October 23, 2007. My own Chicken Parmesan. I did spread grated Parmesans cheese on top of the cheddar but it did not melt in the oven. 4-6 pieces of chicken breasts. 1/2 cup of light cream (or milk, half and half, heavy cream, whatever is preferred). 1/2 tsp of salt. Cheddar cheese (or Parmesans). When ...

Whats Cookin' With Mike

Whats Cookin' With Mike. Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Mikes Pork Loin Au Gratin. Having grown up in the fifties and sixties, I was part of the canned generation. Basically this means a great deal of the food we consumed came in cans, frozen trays or boxes. So bear with me as many of my recipes include a can of this or a box of that. This particular dish was made with a plain pork loin, however; I normally use and prefer a pork tenderloin. 1-1 1/2 pound tenderloin sliced. 1 Cup Cabbage rough chopped. The phra...
