Monday, November 25, 2013. American's Hometown Thanksgiving Parade. Our annual Thanksgiving Parade in Plymouth is a very well attended event, the streets are lined on both sides for miles with people of all ages out enjoying a day in the sun. Joe, Christy and I had a great time photographing it and watching all the activity, and there was a lot of activity! Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Puerto Aventuras, The Pueblo. This morning I walked to the other side of the highway, to the pueblo. No condos or hotels here. I love the pueblo, it's a treasure trove of images of everyday life in Mexico. The customer ahead of me at the tortilla shop is this young boy. Monday, December 16, 2013. Holiday House Tour in Plymouth, MA. My friend, Gail, and I had a great time doing a self tour of 5 homes in Plymouth. A fund raiser that included a book of addresses obtained after paying $50, and a ticket for lunch at the country club. A very woman dominated event, car loads of happy women enjoyed seeing the beautifully decorated homes. We'll do it again next year! Birding Across the World. Friday, October 26, 2012. Shot of camp again - the photos in this post consist of some of my favorites of the season. The nature up there was out of this world, both at the Canning and then in our post-trip to the Kenai Peninsula. We only had 70 or so species of bird at the field site on the North Slope, but some of them that I talked about above, such as Spectacled Eider or Buff-breasted Sandpiper, are truly special. I can see why you would want to head back up there again.
