I love grocery shopping early Sunday morning and picking out all the meat and vegetables to season perfectly and then char on the grill. Day 4- Make new friends but keep the old. March 5, 2015. Tonight I had dinner with an old friend. It was the usual fanfare- wine, food, and conversation. I think because I’m in the mode of slicing this month, I’m constantly observing my thoughts. Throughout dinner I was reminded of how important friendships are: old or new. March 20, 2015. In my 20s, I would go to class or work, and then come home to shower and dress for my night time adventures with my girlfriends. In my 30s, I would go to work, and come home to my husband and then head out to dinner and movie. Now in my 40s, I still go to work, and come home to my husband and kids. And then go to bed.
