In this chapter, God knew about the suffering of His children when they were in bondage. To the Egyptians- you know the years before Moses. What a blessing that NOTHING surprises Him. Not that pop quiz. Not the rain (or ice or snow) when the weatherman predicted the opposite. Not the early death of a loved one.
