3D modelling & animation semester 2

3D modelling and animation semester 2. Friday, 7 May 2010. I hope you enjoy my film, and I look forward to using 3DS max again in the future : D. Posted by Ozzy Betts. This is an example of the scene separators I made using photoshop. They were crucial when I was adding the music to the film, as they provided padding, for making the film the correct length for the music parts. This removed the possibility of losing bit of the music. Xavier Cugat) got this from one of my vinyls :]. Posted by Ozzy Betts.

3D modelling & animation semester 2: Underwater Plant

http://www.3dmodelling2.blogspot.com/2010/05/underwater-plant.html

3D modelling and animation semester 2. Friday, 7 May 2010. The underwater plant is made in a similar way to the reeds leaves. I made a very thin plane, squashed the end, and made it dip in the middle. Then I bent it round so it has a better leaf shape. The leaves were then copied and re-sized several times so that there were enough of them. Posted by Ozzy Betts. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Story boards and pictures.

3D modelling & animation semester 2: The Water Reeds

http://www.3dmodelling2.blogspot.com/2010/05/water-reeds.html

3D modelling and animation semester 2. Friday, 7 May 2010. The water reeds were pretty tricky. I had a go at several different designs, but finally settled with this one. I started with a cylinder for the reeds. I used soft selection to give a reed shape, and then imported a custom material from photoshop. I tried to line up the bars in the material with the joins in the reeds. The leaves are made from a plane which was made thinner and bent slightly. To make the reed move I added bone to the model.

3D modelling & animation semester 2: Modelling the tree

http://www.3dmodelling2.blogspot.com/2010/05/modelling-tree.html

3D modelling and animation semester 2. Friday, 7 May 2010. Made a small plane for the leaves and then shaped it to have a dip in the middle by using soft selection, and moving the middle edges. For the leaf material, I made three oak leaf varieties and silhouettes in photoshop. Then imported them in to 3ds max, and set the silhouettes as opacity maps. This removes the background. The tree itself is made from a box with which I beveled and extruded the polygons to make it the desired shape.

3DS Animation: August 2010

http://tracytortelianimation.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Monday, 16 August 2010. In one scene I had three camera changes. Instead of rendering this as three seperate scenes I opted to use the video post to set up when each camera should take over. When attempting to render static frames from some of the scenes the computers within the lab kept becoming non-responsive. To try and overcome this problem I used backburner to assign the job to several computers at once. However the problem encountered here was that the networked home drive kept going offline. To en...

So they decided to stop their work, however the whole body soon became lethargic and debilidated, too late they repented of their folly. All must work together for a common goal". 3D Modelling and Animation

3D Modelling and Animation. Thursday, 7 April 2011. The overall animation has very well stuck to the original storyboard there are some scenes that have been edited in different ways, contain additional material or do not include sectors that were in the storyboard. This is because any alterations that were considered were to improve the animation or to simplify it. The overall result was not a desired smooth rotation but did give the impression of a rotating propeller. Animating the Plane Chase. By usin...
