Apple Cider and Caramel Cake. November 2, 2015. Yesterday all I wanted in my life was cheesecake. I thought about it all day, all night, and I’m pretty sure I dreamt about cheesecake. Now you may be thinking to yourself, “Tara is drunk, that picture does not look like cheesecake” AND YOU’D BE RIGHT. Wait…no, not about the drunk part, just that it’s not a cheesecake. Bake Me Up! | Life inside the oven.
Life inside the oven. Banana cupcakes with cream cheese caramel frosting. 3 1/2 c cake flour. Preheat oven to 350 F. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour and bananas. Scoop into muffin pans and bake for 18 minutes. Cream Cheese Caramel frosting. 1 pkg cream cheese. 1 c (or more) confectioner’s sugar. 4 T caramel topping (recipe in previous post). Cream cream cheese and sugar together until nice and fluffy. Add caramel topping, cardamom and cinnamon.
