http://bradandcassie.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

For the first two weeks I dropped her off at another house. She'd always have the biggest smile on her face when I picked her up and she'd come home ready to play and pretend following the camping theme they'd done at preschool. The next two weeks it was my turn to teach. We are using a preschool curriculum called Mother Goose Time. The birthday festivities started out with presents. We spent the morning at the park where the kids were dripping in sweat but didn't seem to mind. We rode the train. For din...

My Very Own Preschool. I am a preschool teacher! Brad and I have talked for the last couple years about plans for me to one day run an in-home preschool, but I didn't plan on actually starting it for several more years. It is crazy though how things seem to have so easily fallen into place for me to do it this year. She asked. "Please tell me how he is behaving! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Sevysonian Museum: Soccer and Baseball

http://bradandcassie.blogspot.com/2015/04/soccer-and-baseball.html

Last fall we put Carter in soccer. This was the first time he played on a city team. I had been anticipating him starting sports since he was one and so into sports. But our first season didn't have quite the thrill I had always imagined it would. Carter had a great coach and nice teammates but he did not like going to practice and was so reserved in the games. We did have a couple happy moments, just not too many of them. Carter knew very little about baseball. The practices are twice as long. Not what ...

The Johnsons: March 2011

http://blakeandkristinjohnson.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 25, 2011. I am so far behind on my blogging, so I am going to cheat and just post a bunch of pictures of what we've been up to lately. My mom turned 50 this year, so Owen, Ella and I flew to Michigan for a party/family reunion. Blake had to stay home and work, so he missed out on all the fun. :(. It was a hectic 2 weeks and I think Owen only took one nap the whole time, but it was so fun. I love my family so much and wish I lived closer to them. Sign I made for my mom. (Thanks Tara!

Sunday, November 7, 2010. We celebrated Owen's 3rd birthday this last weekend with some of his little friends. He really enjoyed the firetruck cake I made for him. It was far from perfect, but I don't think he noticed. He has been playing with the firetruck he got ever since he opened it. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, September 5, 2010. As part of our holiday weekend, we were invited to head down to the Green River for an overnight trip runnin' the Green and camping on the beach with some friends. (I know, pretty sweet to have friends that run rivers. We feel pretty fortunate to know them, and they are such a great family in every sense of the word! This is the part of the river that I used to guide on back when I was at BYU and it's been 12 years since I had been there. So I was super excited to go!

Tuesday, January 7, 2014. I first want to apologize to those still following this blog for my lack of updates. I assure you all is GREAT with Brad and I and the baby. It however was very touch and go for a while. Without going into too much detail I will catch you up on the past 16 weeks! At one point a few days into my bedrest he looked at me and said "I had no idea how much you did around the house to keep it going". Such a proud moment! It took a few additional weeks but I am finally at the place agai...

Just a little glimpse. Sunday, January 16, 2011. Our little Lucy has been saying the funniest things lately! Here are a couple that made us laugh out loud! 1 The other day she was playing in the bathtub. She was waiting for Brad to come in and help her with something. She said, "Dad, are you coming? Brad responded with, "Yes, Lucy. I will be there in just a few minutes, I am just finishing reading this part of my book." Lucy curiously asked, "Is it a book about God? She brings such joy to our home! I fou...

Thursday, August 29, 2013. First Day of School 2013. This year, the first day of school was a first of a lot of things for us. Brylie started 1st grade! This was definitely more difficult for me than for him. He has been looking forward to this for a long time! He has a brand new teacher out of school and he is in the PM class so he can come home with his sister. He, like Brylie, will do just fine in school! He already reads very well and can count like a champ and is even doing math. So the wait began.

Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Sautéed Komatsuna with Basil. I got some komatsuna in my CSA veggies today. It is soooooo delicious prepared this way! The instructions are from a blog called Chubby Bunny Recipes. Last time I made it, I ate the whole pan myself, on top of some brown rice. I was in heaven! Komatsuna is a typical Japanese leafy vegetable. It is often called Japanese Mustard Spinach in the. Supermarkets. Wednesday, January 22, 2014. The Birth of Parley Grace. January 9, 2014. My due date }. For about a week and a half I had been having contractions. Throughout my whole pregnancy I had had many braxton hicks contractions. I could feel my body preparing for labor but it was such a tease! One night I would have contractions for 4 hours straight and they would just stop! On January 8, I started having contractions around. I didn't think anything of it of course since this was like the 8th night in a row.
