26 September, 2012. After our week in Salmon ID we sent Maven home with Grandma and Grandpa Oliverson and we continued our road trip to Corvallis OR looking for housing. I didn't take too many pictures since most of our time was spent searching for a place to live, but I did catch this beauty of Brad. Everytime we drove up the lane to my parents Maven got to drive. 25 February, 2013. December was a hard month for Maven. Not because of all the changes associated with being a NEW big brother but because dad wasn't home. Wednesday, May 21, 2014. It is a little hard to believe that our baby boy, our second child, is a year and a half old! He attended nursery at church for the first time this past Sunday. So crazy! He is definitely showing us in some ways how much of a "big boy" he really is becoming. The past couple weeks I have tried keeping track of all the words he can, or attempts to say. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Sautéed Komatsuna with Basil. I got some komatsuna in my CSA veggies today. It is soooooo delicious prepared this way! The instructions are from a blog called Chubby Bunny Recipes. Last time I made it, I ate the whole pan myself, on top of some brown rice. I was in heaven! Komatsuna is a typical Japanese leafy vegetable. It is often called Japanese Mustard Spinach in the. Supermarkets. Young leaves, stalks and flower shoots are used in salad and stir-fry. 2 tsp olive oil.

Throughout my whole pregnancy I had had many braxton hicks contractions. I could feel my body preparing for labor but it was such a tease! One night I would have contractions for 4 hours straight and they would just stop! On January 8, I started having contractions around.
