Dan Puckey graphic designer: creating the piece
http://danpuckeygraphicdesigner.blogspot.com/2011/05/creating-piece.html
Dan Puckey graphic designer. Thursday, 5 May 2011. I decided to add a paper texture layer to the front of this and made it transparent, then moved it along at the same speed as the background layer, which i think gives it more depth. Dan Puckey graphic designer: The song!
http://danpuckeygraphicdesigner.blogspot.com/2011/05/song.html
Dan Puckey graphic designer. Thursday, 5 May 2011. The song its self gives me the impression of a very european esc town. sort of places like bruges which i will base my ideas around, due to the fact i went on a trip there just after i got the song for the project, and i found it perfect for the project. Thinkng somthing to do with bikes, old style ornate buildings and cannels of all which bruges had plently of. As i really like the stylized character idea. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Paper Paper Paper: So not as easy as it sounds!
http://bpgraphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/so-not-as-easy-as-it-sounds.html
Wednesday, 9 March 2011. So not as easy as it sounds! So i tried out the wet folding technique and found it is A LOT harder than i thought. I think the main problem was that i had my heart set on being able to produce something as amazing as Richard Sweeney. This didn't really go as hoped! 65279;Even after experimenting with several models i couldn't create the shapes i was hoping for. Richard Sweeney obviously has a secret ingredient he's just not letting out! Here are a couple of my best attempts.

DanielleRose..: Time for some action!
http://danielle-pilkington.blogspot.com/2011/03/time-for-some-action.html
Sunday, 6 March 2011. Time for some action! Due to my lack of self managing my time adequately, I had a huge scare when I was informed of the changed deadline for our final sculpture, so was pretty relieved once it was moved back (phew). BUT now I am really cracking on with my idea's. I am also starting on task 2 at the same time just because time is running out! I am not sure if I will be using my final sculpture in the poster, as I am wanting to. Incorporate the text needed using paper. The one and only.

Paper Paper Paper: Shaped Structures
http://bpgraphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/shaped-structures.html
Wednesday, 2 March 2011. I found a few structures and buildings that have all been formed around or resemble the shape of moving water such as waves. I really like the bench above as it takes a really similar form to some of the paper models i have made with its pleats creating curves. I also found the work below that has been produced using paper to create a waved appearence. I havent tried out this technique yet so i will have a go and see what shapes can be produced. Dan Puckey graphic designer: April 2011
http://danpuckeygraphicdesigner.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Dan Puckey graphic designer. Sunday, 3 April 2011. The first thing that came to my head to look at for an animation project was this the intro credits to "kiss kiss bang bang", mainly because i love this film and the title credits equaly, and the simplistity to this animation and how styleish it comes out are amazing. And i intend to do a really simple stylelised animation. Oh my song was infinity girl. PRINT TO PIXEL- - -. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Http:/ catowendesign.blogspot.com. PRINT TO PIXEL- - -.

Emily Roche: February 2011

Graphic Design Sheffield Hallam. Monday, 28 February 2011. Philip Treacy.BUTTERFLY and FLORAL hats. I found the work of Philip Treacy when I was researching butterfly patterns. They are pretty impressive hats, but you don't see many people walking down the street in them. I love how its like an explosion of colour and pattern being displayed proud of place on somebodies head. They so extravagant and eye catching but they still manage to have the elegance and beauty of the natural form. To truly see how a...
