Hayden Martin: Final edit................... another version will follow

http://cmdiplomahayden.blogspot.com/2009/02/final-edit-another-version-will-follow.html

Friday, 27 February 2009. Final edit. another version will follow. If i had an extra day i'd dedicate it to final touches in effects and timing - removing the rubbishness of the glow but this time round i used it to hide the rushed pyro-effects. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Final edit. another version will. Rough cut VOODOO COWBOY. Sorting out a crane. Items Needed for Costume. DO NOT EDIT THIS BOX. View my complete profile. A bit of Tim Burton (early stuff). Alien trilogy (the fourth is BAD).

Hayden Martin: Feedback L2

http://cmdiplomahayden.blogspot.com/2009/03/feedback-l2.html

Sunday, 19 April 2009. What kinda genre do you think this film belongs to? Fantasy. i think this because it looks and seems imaginary with all the colors and imagery. Who do you think the target audience could be? I think the target audience for this would be slightly older than myself and most likely male. If you were to borrow one idea from this film for your own film-making project, what would it be and why? The colors stand out. What kinda genre do you think this film belongs to? DO NOT EDIT THIS BOX.

http://cmdiplomahayden.blogspot.com/2009/02/details.html

Wednesday, 11 February 2009. Possible actors - will be confirmed soon:. My friend Angus Crawley. My friend Max Weaver-Lathers (alternative actor). I may take on the acting role and get someone else to film if desperate). I'll be using effects for gunshots gun flashes (some can be done WHILE filming), glitter style effects, auras trail effects like glows and ghosting, i'll be using blue/green screen throughout most of the movie so that'll require keying effects. Labels: film opening sequence.

Tuesday, 10 November 2009. Film Opening - Final Edit. L3 OPENING SEQUENCE - GROUP 1 - FINAL VIDEO. This is the final edit for my film opening, which I am quite pleased with. However If I had more time I would have done more with my titles, for example adding the same effects on the main title as the other titles so they don't just fade in and fade out. Although I think I did well in keeping it simple and abstract which was my plan to begin with. Monday, 9 November 2009. EVALUATION - Activity one. This fr...

Monday, 16 November 2009. For our film opening, we were concerned that the video may be too complex for people to understand. To make it clearer, we created two versions, one with a voice over, and one with a alternate ending, which makes the opening far clearer. Sunday, 15 November 2009. Evaluation Question One- In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? 5th shot: This was one of the few shots where we used the dolly provided by the media...

Friday, 13 November 2009. Task 1: In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? Ie of film openings). Task 2: How does your media product represent particular social groups? All characters also have similar roles in the films, they pick on people who are vulnerable and they set all the trend, However no one really likes them they just scare people into liking them. . Sunday, 15 November 2009. The setting and location screen-grab is an example of one of the 4 locations that we shot in. The shot we have used is in a walking scene and is supposedly located outside the characters house. Its quite conventional as it shows the character walking to school and leaving the house, it would appeal to our target audience as it is the sort of day to day routine they would carry out. What does a production company do? Where does the money come from? Idea of a Distributor? These ar...

Monday, 16 November 2009. Beat The Bully finished version. Tuesday, 10 November 2009. 1st frame: In this frame we chose the title of the film to go where the characters first meet. The reason for this is because it is the part of the opening where the tension builds up to. We did choose the title 'Beat the Bully' because the main character gets bullied and he will fight back. We chose these locations because they represent the genre of the film, and makes it look and feel like a regional independent film.

Tuesday, 17 November 2009. L3 - GROUP 3 (Tom and Liam) Fim Opening Rough Cut. 1 (Props) : We used the one main prop, which was the ipod shuffle. We used this for two main reasons. The first was so we could use the soundtrack, and the second was to give the film something the audience could relate to. 2 (setting and location) We decided to set our film in urban areas because Its where most teenagers live/brought up. We chose house that would typically be seen in the city. 9 (Costume) We chose to dress the...

This is our contact sheet for our opening sequence. The first frame is of our main title. We decided to have the main title at this point as it enters dramatically. Thursday, 5 March 2009. Video with voiceover- institutional question. 1) Apple Mac Laptop - The Mac was pretty much the main resource of my project, research, blogging, planning, editing and evaluation. Without the mac my project would probably have been rendered impossible.
