MMM Malabrigo | cooking all the thyme

https://cookingallthethyme.wordpress.com/2011/06/29/malabrigo

Cooking all the thyme. My cooking, project, and picture notebook. Spinach, Beet, Goat Cheese Salad →. June 29, 2011. Today I picked up a new skein of yarn. Some beautiful Malabrigo sock yarn. For my new project. I couldn’t resist. This knitting project marks the beginning of something new, a new hobby. Really, I do not need another hobby, but this is one I’ve been wanting to take up and get into for a long time now. Just finding my way around the big boy of a camera and having fun with it. I am going...

Born in the Wrong Century. The musings of a gal who would've made a great homesteader! Archive for the ‘{Wildcrafting}’ Category. Putting Up Wild Mushrooms. Posted in {Putting Up}. The Scott's: St. Louis Trip

http://lindseyannscott.blogspot.com/2013/06/st-louis-trip.html

Tuesday, June 25, 2013. At the end of April for Jared's 30th birthday we all took a trip down to St. Louis to visit Renee. We stayed in a really nice hotel (thanks to Renee and her connections) and had a great time being tourists. Me and Logan on the train at the zoo. One of Logan's favorite things at the zoo! Okapi-they look like half Zebras. A kangaroo that had a joey in her pouch. Turtle park across the street from the zoo. Flooding and a really cool bridge. Eating brunch at the Three Monkeys. Yum!

The Scott's: My Favorite Things in May

http://lindseyannscott.blogspot.com/2013/06/my-favorite-things-in-may.html

Tuesday, June 25, 2013. My Favorite Things in May. May was an interesting month-the weather was just strange. From cool and rainy to over 100 degrees (on our family picture day) it was just typical Nebraska I guess. My first 5K, ticks and haircuts it was a full month. Here are some of my favorite things that happened in May. Here are a couple that we really liked. They were taken in the Haymarket downtown. 2 The Glow Run. My first 5K. Here I am with my coworkers from left to right-Janell, Lewis and Kim.

http://lindseyannscott.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

Sunday, June 3, 2012. I think that since I've started running again I've had so much more energy so I've been finding lots of time for knitting projects. Here's what I just finished. It's a little poncho for a coworker who's pregnant with a little girl (obviously) and due in September. I'm so excited to give this to her. I'm also making matching booties. Last night when I was getting ready for bed Jared came in and told me to go look at Logan. My Favorite Things in May. Goes great with the gray, right?

Tuesday, March 26, 2013. It might not feel like it yet but I've decorated for it! In this really high pitched voice-so funny! He finally decided on Mack the semi-truck from Cars. It's now one of his favorite toys. Jared and I also took Logan to the Lincoln Children's Museum. I think he had a good time-there were quite a few older kids there so it kind of made it more difficult for the smaller kids to do stuff. I honestly don't know if we'll go back-once you've seen it it's not that big of a deal. I reall...

Friday, November 9, 2012. That's What He Said. 65279; One night for supper we were having salads and I always put hard boiled eggs on them. Logan was watching me crack and peel the eggs-when he saw the pile of shells he said, "Look the eggs! He said it so excitedly I couldn't help but stop and laugh! I wonder if this had anything to do with why he didn't want egg on his salad. I'm a big fan of country music (Nashville anyone? I love making these memories that I'll cherish forever. Thursday, May 24, 2012. Two of Logan's favorite things are milk and chocolate so when you put them together this is what you get:. Complete and utter bliss :). When Jared vacuums the dining area he always moves the chairs into the kitchen. Logan loves to play with the vacuum-so when I got it out for him he immediately started moving the chairs into the kitchen so he could vacuum just like Daddy. He doesn't miss a thing. Logan is obsessed with school buses. Anytime he sees one he shouts SCHOOL BUS! This i...

Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Logan at the Dentist. So she went on to tell him about filings and if you take really good care of your teeth at home you won't need fillings. Teeth brushing and flossing is still a struggle at our house but it's become a little easier. All I have to do is bring up the dentist and the pictures of those cavities and he's a little more willing to let me brush his teeth. My Favorite Things in May. Here are a couple that we really liked. They were taken in the Haymarket downtown.

Cooking Allergy Free with EoE | Surviving food allergies while staying healthy

Surviving food allergies while staying healthy. Cooking Allergy Free with EoE. This is one of my favorite recipes. I make it on a weekly basis it seems like! I kind of compiled a few recipes I found online as well as a “cheesy” sauce I found for a cauliflower recipe in a cookbook. My recipe does contain wheat but I think a pinch of xanthan gum or even a little bit of cornstarch would achieve the same effect. The purpose of the flour is to thicken the sauce like a roux. This stuff is a staple for me!

Monday, October 3, 2016. Cherry Dijon Sauce for Steak. This sauce really takes a steak to a new level! Like many great ideas, this was the result of necessity and serendipity. I had a small filet, leftover from a restaurant dinner. How to reheat it in a way that didn't dry it out, and would add some flavor to the somewhat bland meat? I've tried various methods before, but this is my favorite. Inspired by the contents of my pantry and refrigerator! 2 cups Beef broth (I used Better Than Bouillon). Dash of ...
