Friday, August 20, 2010. What to do with cabbage? When I visited my mom a few weeks ago, she sent me home with 2 head of cabbage from her garden (along with some tomatoes). YUM! I already have a head of cabbage in my fridge. I love coleslaw (besides hummus it's one of the things I use my food processor the most for!

MERINGUE HEARTS: Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 8 servings. 4 egg whites 1cup sugar. 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar. 1/4 tsp. salt. DIRECTIONS: Beat 4 egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy white in a large bowl. Sprinkle in sugar very slowly 1 tablespoon at a time, beating all the time until meringue stands in firm peaks.
