Thursday, March 10, 2011. A very knowledgeable brew shop in North Little Rock. We are finishing up our Nut Brown Ale and about to start brewing the American Wheat, which will be much more suitable for springtime porch drinking! Here are some pics from our home brew experience, we recommend you give it a try. Bottoms up! The kit came with everything we needed to brew. Graham took on the tedious task of reading the directions. You need a REALLY big stock pot. Transfer to the fermenting bucket.

Deodorants are gentle, smooth and come in a variety of great scents (our favorite is Vanilla Grapefruit)&...

Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Not Grimaldi's pizza, but still delicious. My tour guide/boyfriend lived in New York for 8 years, so he had a lot of things on our to do list. First was walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and eat at his favorite pizza place, Grimaldi’s. The walk across the bridge was beautiful and the coal-fired brick oven pizza was the best I tried, and definitely worth the half-hour wait for a table. The High Line is in the process of being transformed into an elevated park and walking path. ...

Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Mother's Day Recap: Mimosas and Ladder Ball. M-Day gifts: mini rose bushes personalized with chalk. Graham and I have started a tradition of hosting Mother's Day brunch. It is the one holiday that we can (lovingly) usurp from our mothers and they just can't do anything about it. This year we decided to try something a little different: made-to-order omelettes. We presented everyone with a printed list of ingredients and let them build their own. She was really good at ladder golf.
