Ellis Family Adventures on the East Coast: Making gingerbread houses
http://ellisfamilyadventuresontheeastcoast.blogspot.com/2011/07/making-gingerbread-houses.html
Saturday, July 9, 2011. SoI'm not a big crafter/mess maker and when it comes to carving punkins, making gingerbread houses or coloring Easter eggs, I'd rather not. Usually I task Jason with the job and then I go behind everyone and clean up as we go. It works well for us :). I miss my kiddies. July 9, 2011 at 8:28 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In July at the family reunion, Pat and I talked about how much FUN it would be to attend the 3 day crop in her town on October 15-17 (Fri.-Sun). together! I didn't really think it would be possible, but Jason and his Grandparents schemed behind my back to get me there! You guys are AWESOME! I had the best time ever! It's Hammie Time: October 2010
http://hammietime.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2010. This year we spent our Halloween at my sister's house. Unfortunately, my nephew Cameron had a soccer game that started at 4 and of course ran late (Honestly? Why schedule a soccer game at 4 o'clock on Halloween? So while Mom and Dad stayed at Nicole's house, Jon and I took the kids around the neighborhood. Here's Jason, aka Mr. Race Car Driver. Justin aka Freddy Kruger and Jack aka Mr. Bones. Jon and I with the kiddies. And letting Dad open his presents. Such a fun day! Sadly, n...

Our Life. Our Family. Friday, January 9, 2009. Big Trees Snow Trip. During our winter break. We took the kids to the snow. I love to go to the snow I just hate the planning and getting the things together. We had a great time with our friends. The Snow Ball fight. This is one of my favorite pictures of Clay. He was so happy to be able to throw a snowball. Watch out when you go anywhere with Josh. He takes every opportunity to ambush you. This time it was HARD packs of ice that he called snow.

It's Hammie Time: Transitions....

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. What is it that 'they' say? When one door closes, another opens? I think that's a pretty good statement when talking about Military families, especially when it's time to pull up those roots you've planted and nurtured and transplant them to another location, only to do the same thing again one, two or if you're lucky like us, four years later. Which is what we're in the middle of doing right now. But I've decided to start with the here and now and then work my way backwards.

Our little fairytale...
Wednesday, October 21, 2009. I am thankful for the wife who says it's hot dogs tonight, because she is home. With me, and not out with someone else. For the husband who is on the sofa being a couch potato, because he is home. With me and not out at the bars. For the teenager who is complaining about doing dishes because that means. She is at home, not on the streets. For the taxes that I pay because it means that I am employed. For my shadow that watches me work because it means I am out in the sunshine.
Being a mom is HARD
Being a mom is HARD. I am a stay at home mom of three kids and I am the voice of moms from all over. Being a mom is HARD and I want to blog about it. This blog is mostly for my own personal use, but if anyone has advice or would like to give suggestions I am open to it! Sunday, April 17, 2011. So it makes me wonder. is it just the thought of being a mom that wants to always be on the go go go, or is there something being said for liking the routine, and being a stay at home family?
