This was the only day the wind (easterly) did not start until well into the afternoon, every other day it was blowing 20 - 25 kph by 0900hrs if not earlier. Thus limited fly fishing time on the water. Tried bait misiing with no fish, plenty on the sounder but down deep and not hungry. Had a beach line out for 3 days and not even a cat fish!

Monday, September 28, 2009. Titchilla Sept. 09. Arrived at my brothers place in South Hedland and camped for a week before heading off to put some fish in our freezer before heading off thru the desert on the Gary Junction Road to Alice Springs. Several visit's to the local Mitre 11 salvaged a few useable items, and some that were returned when examined closely. Arrived at Titchila 3 hours after departing Port Hedland, it's a slow track into the coast. Even with the full annexe. Best part of the day!

Fishabout - Scotts Beach. Friday, October 8, 2010. Scotts Beach - Fowlers Bay S.A. Off again up the west coast of Eyre Peninsular to Scotts Beach near Fowler's Bay, before heading to our Mullaway camp site at the Head of the Bight - GEUES. 1st stop is just up the road at COLTON - wood. Fired bread and sticky buns! Over the years we have never met the 'Baker', today was our lucky day - Mark was restocking the road side cabinet. All bread loaves about 6 varieties and packs of 4 sticky buns. 350 = good value.
