Saturday, 23 November 2013. Found out this week that my knee ligament on the inside of the knee is only lightly torn. Should be about 6 weeks until I can get back to playing basketball. I start physio next week. The pain in the knee is lessening every day so hopefully I will be back ssoner rather than later. Friday, 15 November 2013. Hit a new road block this week! Monday, 6 May 2013. Last week I had a good week. I had 2 basketball trining sessions of 2 hours plus did 2 hours of shooting with my coach from 6am till 7am on friday and saturday. Also did an hour in the gym. Not bad considering I have had the flu all week. Sunday, 20 October 2013. Not the best week! After starting off the week really well walking the dog monday and tuesday moring before work it went down hill fast. I have had a fever all wwek caused by a sore throat and to top it all off I twisted my ankle again yesterday playing streetball. I managed to twist is the other way to normal so I think my one remaining ligament was ruptured! I am able to walk today but not very well. Will see how the ankle feels tomorrow and play it by ear! 4 Months to go!

I usually make potato gnocchi, tried pumpkin once but it didn't work. I think the issue is moisture, potatoes and sweet potatoes are quite dry and that makes for good gnocchi. Tonight is a freezing cold summer night in Melbourne and I enjoyed this soup while sobbing over a heartwrenching episode of Adoption Stories. It has made me sleepy and very warm. So I will be off to bed after blogging this. So here is my version of lettuce soup:. 1/4 of a large gold sweet potato, or 1 whole standard sweet potato. 1 baby cos lettuce.

Sunday, February 15, 2009. Slow Cooked Vegan Gluten Free Lasagne. Several zucchini, I prefer Italian white zucchini - though today they weren't available. Two large sweet potatoes. Herb salt (I like herbamare). Quality oil of your choice. Two packs of Cheezely Mozzarella (vegan). Gluten free lasagne sheets. Good quality tomato pasta sauce 1 large jar. Thinly slice sweet potatoes and zucchini lengthwise. Drizzle with olive oil and herb seasoning. On the top layer put pasta sauce with plenty of cheezely.
