Good food is my life. What do to in a blizzard. Now I wish I was more like Rachel and could sew really really well. see here ( clicky. I would have a Tudor dress so fast! And now I am on etsy.com. Dont go there. you will never get off)looking for tudor style dresses. I can't just wear this to my classes tomorrow, but its GORGEOUS! Sadly there is no copy of this on etsy.and if I had a sewing machine I would make good use of the blizzard! I hope it doesn't stop and I get a snow day tomorrow.

Good food is my life. I have another blog! MMMM I am so lucky to have married a farmer. I have a freezer full of grass fed beef! Today I made beef bourguignon. No, I didn't use Julia's recipe; lunch was still delicious. I used a half pound bacon (raided from my parent's stash of local pork). 3 pounds chuck roast, cut into cubes-ish. 1/4 cup flour, salt and pepper. Some carrots and 4 onions, cut in quarters. Choosing paint colors wasn't the previous occupant's strong suit. Dustin and I took Olive for a walk this morning because she was clear full of energy and tearing up all her toys and making a great big mess. Look what I found while we were walking in the orchard.asparagus. There was about triple that but it got eaten on the walk home. I love how really fresh asparagus tastes like peas and is amazingly crunchy. I just eat it. I don't need any butter or proscuitto or anything to make it better.
