I am going to stick with setting mileage targets as usual, but this year will be completely rearranged as my early focus is on the ETU Aquathlon Champs in Bratislava in May. I have a month-by-month plan as well as the big picture plan. By year end I want to be at least through 120 miles. By the end of April I want to be past 50 miles. Kevin's training blog of 2017. Monday, 9 January 2017. Training Plan - Week 2 - January 9 to 15. First standard week of the year. So three bike and two run commutes from the base of the plan. Club swim and a midweek trip to bucksburn get me through to the weekend. Kevin's training blog of 2017. Sunday, 1 January 2017. Happy New Year, Happy New Blog. Another new year and another new blog. But I am way ahead of this one. I am writing this first post in November. Today I received confirmation of my place in the ETU Aquathlon Age-Group Champs in Bratislava so I have started planning early for my hole 2017 season. I am still hopeful of a spot opening up in the ETU Sprint Triathlon at Dusseldorf but as they are only 3 weekends apart I am unlikely to do both races.
