I am a fairly old fashioned type of guy. I tell stories of yesteryear, have a great grasp of history and cultural geography, and do not really understand computers. That said, I also tweet, use facebook, have a myspace page,(but I don't use it,) and several blogs. So I ask myself; Self-am I a techie?

Actually, Ben and I moved most of the cattle Saturday, but somehow we missed one. She is a black and white longhorn cross heifer, but the most remarkable thing is she does not run-she paces. So I brought out the boys to help do chores. They, of course more much more interested in snow ball wars. Since this is only the fourth time in their 15 years of life to really see snow, (except for the times I take them to Colorado snow skiing,) I let them play. You are only young once, plus I needed. Moving targets for my snow missiles.

How To’s…. Want A Fun Day Out? Head To The Races! October 18, 2015. You may have seen last week that I was looking forward to a day at Newmarket Races for their Dubai Future Champions Festival. Saturday came around quickly and I had to throw together an outfit as it was a bit grey and rainy! Nevertheless, the husband and I were really excited about the day and arrived in Newmarket around 12pm. What a beautiful place Newmarket is! We headed to the Show area where the horses are walked around before a race.

Needless to say, that at the moment, Hamada is the proudest daddy in all of el-Bairat. If we didn't know any better, we could swear that he has grown at least tow inches :-).
