Monday, June 29, 2009. On the way to Twin Lakes Sabrina and Kyler wrote a song for Grandpa Lattin Farms. I think Lisa actually has a video of the grandkids performing it so maybe she'll post that. Old McGrandpa had a Farm. Old McGrandpa had a Farm EIEIO. And on his farm he has a kitchen Yummy Yummy Yum. With a cookie here and a brownie there. Here a cookie there a cookie every where you add a poundy. Old McGrandpa had a Farm EIEIO. And on his farm he had a barn EIEIO. With a worker here and a worker there.

Friday, July 31, 2009. Lindsay and Milana's fort in the rocks. They spent hours in their fort and real fishermen were disappointed because it is such a great fishing hole. They did end up sharing the place with some guys fishing for awhile but it was still their fort. Sunday, August 16, 2009. Julia is going to Costa Rica for two weeks and then is going back to school. It has been great having her home for the summer and we will really miss her. Currently she is in panic mode because she is afraid to fly but I told her she has to get on the plane and that she'll be fine. For someone who loves to travel she really has a fear of flying. Friday, July 31, 2009. Rayanne got a little tired. Kyler and Dylan played in the water forever. The girls built sand castles and burried themselves and eachother. Linda and I took the kids to King's Beach at Lake Tahoe for the day. It was a great trip and very relaxing. We brought the left over food from Linda's pampered chef party the night before and just swam, ate, and relaxed. Good for you for getting out for the day - its hard to do sometimes! Friday, July 31, 2009. Rayanne got a little tired. Kyler and Dylan played in the water forever. The girls built sand castles and burried themselves and eachother. Linda and I took the kids to King's Beach at Lake Tahoe for the day. It was a great trip and very relaxing. We brought the left over food from Linda's pampered chef party the night before and just swam, ate, and relaxed. Thank you papa for the docks! Only lost one person- Kyler is at the top holding on for dear life, but it won't last. Lindsay ...

Sunday, January 11, 2009. Kent taught Kyler how to snowboard and he's never even been on one before. He did a fantastic job and Kyler loves snowboarding. He didn't want to wear the helmet and I said that was okay if he wanted to get off the mountain. He quickly changed his mind and said the helmet was fine. The look was the same one that Grandpa and Lance had as they purposely rammed the tractor into the old house. Kyler's 1st time on a snowboard. Karen and Jeff-Check out the sunset! Saturday, May 9, 2009. Julia is now a US Citizen! This swearing in was quite a bit different from Carolina's in Reno. In Boise, the swearing in took place at the US Citizenship and Immigration Services office. On one side are all the people taking their oath and on the other side are people waiting for their number to be called out to finish paperwork. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Two moments that really stick out in my mind are:. 1) Kyler's body getting singed inspite of adults, including mom, all around him (No pictures). 2) How lucky I am to have grandparents and what examples they are to me. Kyler was very eager to go on the rope swing. In fact, he went so many times he got blisters on his hands. Thank you to uncle Adam for going with him for HOURS!
