Running Through The Forest: A "Man's Man" ??

http://www.runningthroughtheforest.blogspot.com/2008/11/mans-man.html

Running Through The Forest. Oreos and Cool Whip. Thursday, November 20, 2008. A "Man's Man" is. OK maybe not ) : ). Jesus, the ultimate Man's Man, came riding in on a donkey. He shared with everyone that Love was the greatest thing of all. He taught that we are saved through grace. He served man, child, and women. It's time that Men not let themselves be defined by a societal label. It's time for men to explore who they are and where they need to grow. It's time for men to be just that, MEN! There's my i...

Running Through The Forest. I have no SKIN! Michael VS. Grandpa Jo. Friday, July 25, 2008. I have no SKIN! I guess the only thing that stick out in my mind about his was a comment made by Alleko, one of my coaches. He informed me that, "Pain is only temporary. But glory lasts forever! And right there I felt like I was in some Trojan war movie and Brad Pitt was giving an inspirational speech! All in all, I love the sport. My heels on the other hand. Well, cheers for now! Running Through The Forest: The Faith Debockle

http://www.runningthroughtheforest.blogspot.com/2008/07/faith-debockle.html

Running Through The Forest. I have no SKIN! Michael VS. Grandpa Jo. Monday, July 28, 2008. At our young marrieds bible study group this last Sunday. We were discussing 1 John and ideas such as, how do we know the voice we hear is God, and ways we can ensure that we are hearing the voice of god clearly. Topics like these are really hard for me because no matter where the discussion takes us we always land on "Well, you just need to have faith.". I know for me that I lack in the faith department. Maybe...

I Never Said It Wasn't Complicated: The Rant of a Couch-Potato

http://ktmckay.blogspot.com/2009/03/rant-of-couch-potato.html

I Never Said It Wasn't Complicated. Monday, March 30, 2009. The Rant of a Couch-Potato. Especially when I've seen them before and I don't have to pay attention the entire time. I didn't call anyone to hang out with, because then I'd actually have to interact with people. And who to call is another question. The women I could have called were probably at church, which the thought of right now makes my stomach churn, and my other friends don't live close-by. And it's killing me! So thanks for listening to ...

I Never Said It Wasn't Complicated: December 2008

http://ktmckay.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

I Never Said It Wasn't Complicated. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. It's been quiet here and it's all because, thankfully, I've been busy at work and then when I get home- so it's left no time for blogging. Even Christmas weekend, blogging was the least of my worries (sleeping was at the top). But I wanted to share about my Christmas because it was the first Christmas being married so it changed everything! We sang "The Instrument Song" and to say it was a complete disaster would be an understatement! But I ...

I Never Said It Wasn't Complicated. Friday, March 13, 2009. By The Way, I Might End Up On the Other Side of the World Someday. So the second thing-. An idea I've been tossing around in my head, and really feeling a conviction for, is to possibly end up going to Southeast. Asia and helping AIDS orphans there. WHAT? I don't consider it a "missions trip" in the traditional sense, because my purpose is not to "bring Jesus" but to bring his love through my actions. make sense? View my complete profile. By The...

I Never Said It Wasn't Complicated. Monday, May 11, 2009. Love vs. Like and Loving People. I know I haven't written anything in, like, forever, but here are a couple thoughts that have been rolling around my head the last couple of days (but also for a while because these are big issues for me):. The Bible says that God loves us, but does he like. In 1 John 4:12,. If we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://ktmckay.blogspot.com/2009/07/its-just-sleeping.html

I Never Said It Wasn't Complicated. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. So it's been a while since I last posted. As far as I'm concerned, this blog is going to sleep for a good long while. My life has completely turned upside-down, and church/God/religion has really taken a back seat to the rest of my life; so I feel that this blog is not what I need any more. But I will keep it up because I don't see the point in deleting it. See you all in a few months! Im so sorry to hear about the divorce, but I hope you will s...

I Never Said It Wasn't Complicated. Monday, January 19, 2009. Moving, Yet Again. Michael and I are moving! I'm so excited about it! But as older posts have stated: I HATE MOVING! The thought of boxes and tape and labels and wrapping crap in newspaper and bubble-wrap makes my stomach churn and I feel nauseous. It helps that this moving experience isn't moving home to my parents, but to a new place that is nicer and symbolizing a new phase in our lives. And let's hope we like this place well enough that we...

I Never Said It Wasn't Complicated. Friday, March 13, 2009. One Year Down, Many More to Go! Okay, so as I was writing my other post, I realized I had two things to process/tell about. First- next Saturday will mark the one-year anniversary of Michael's and my marriage :-D I cannot believe we've been married for A YEAR! Comparatively, that's not very long, but it's flown by, and hey, a life-long marriage has to start somewhere. I'm kinda torn. I have a good idea for one thing (thanks, Erin! We fight has e...

Running Through Sunshine

THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Thursday, July 23, 2009. So I've been working like a dog for the past 2 weeks on this HUGE project at work. We went to a client a few months back with an idea to go national. and staff all of their locations from our home office. Piece of cake since we already staff 9 of the states now and barely break a sweat doing it. Unbeknownst. That was a huge RFP. We had 1 week to get our presentation together after they accepted our RFP and again, worked every night and all thr...

The months-long abandonment of New Orleans would have been enough to alter its unique character forever, but the storm’s destruction had erased many of the physical reminders needed to jog the memories of its former occupants on their return. Running through the kitchen

Running through the kitchen. Run fast, eat slow. Sunday, June 28, 2015. The rain was light, consistent, and refreshing. A sharp contrast to energy-stealing sunshine. I followed sections of bike path in directions that don't provide shade on hot sunny days but have plenty to offer otherwise, like nearby trees with leaves so broad I felt small as a smurf, and great views of the river, grey and choppy from the bursts of wind. Blame it on the rain. Weekly total: 36 km. Friday night cheese and cosmo combo :.
