Sheers: Project and Work Book. 112 Kacy’s 5 Way Top. March 23, 2015. I was mesmerized. In a recent broadcast, Peggy Sagger showed this fabulous pattern 112 called Kacy’s 5 Way Top. I can attest that I’ve tested and discovered silk, rayon, and linen in my purchases. This is a serger garment. YIPPEE! OK so what we’re really here for is some pictures. Keep in mind that these have been lightened. My fabric is a dark blue. Dark blue doesn’t photograph more easily than dark brown or bla...Will I sew it again?

Sheers: Project and Work Book. February 18, 2015. I didn’t test again with tulle, but I did ponder my next step. I didn’t want a fashion fabric to show up in my final garment. I wanted my trim to look like FSL Crochet. I finally remembered and hunted until I found a sheer, polyester crepe in nearly the same color. I still had two bookmarks left. I opted to lower the right bust dart 1″ (and crossed my fingers hoping I was right). I retrieved my armscye templates and redrew the right armscye. sdBev Knits
It’s knit with 2 strands of 2/24 acrylic yarn in a tuck stitch pattern that imitates cables or fisherman knits. Even with 2 strands of yarn, this is a light weight knit and does not have quite the depth of a hand knit fisherman’s Guernsey. The purl side becomes the right side although the knit side is also interesting. I used simple shapes or intended to use simple trapezoid shapes.
