Suburban Homestead | Just another WordPress.com weblog
January 6, 2008, 10:12 am. Things are quiet at the start of the new year. The greens and garlic are still hanging on in the garden. We have been poring over seed catalogs and deciding what to plant in the spring. The bee equipment we ordered has started coming in. Now to assemble our hives and set them up! Thankfully, we got it done, after lots of work, and the onions are ready to grow! Kittan was prowling around while we were working. :).

Too much rosemary, not enough thyme! How to Milk a Coconut. July 18, 2015. It’s been three and a half weeks since I began a strict autoimmune protocol (AIP) diet to address a few of my health problems. One of the staples that I was absolutely bummed about giving up was dairy. We have an amazing local farmers’ market vendor who sells the creamiest, non-homogenized whole milk with the cream sitting at the top of the gallon. Ohhhh, glorious dairy. Then I saw it…. Who knows, but I was going to. This girl...
