Cooking With The Kids

Cooking With The Kids. Thursday, August 28, 2008. Barefoot Bloggers - Butterflied Chicken. First, the kids have to apologize for the lack of postings lately. For the last few weeks, they just haven't been motivated to do too much, and now with school in full force, postings will only come on the weekends. So they are still here, and participating as much as they can. Now, on to the chicken! Sabrina: I really liked this. It was lemony and crispy - all good things about a chicken. 3 garlic cloves, chopped.

Cooking With The Kids: June 2008

http://www.cookingwiththekids.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html

Cooking With The Kids. Monday, June 30, 2008. Sabrina made sushi last night! Now there's something I never thought we'd make at home! It's just rice, seaweed, vegetables and some crab (not the kind that begins with a "k"), so I knew she could do it! We went to Whole Paycheck to find the correct sushi rice and a piece of ahi tuna for David - sadly, the tuna is being returned today, it was tough and for that price, they can have it back! Artfully arranged on the platter:. Friday, June 27, 2008. I convinced...

Cooking With The Kids: Graduation Cake - Wilton 1

http://www.cookingwiththekids.blogspot.com/2008/08/graduation-cake-wilton-1.html

Cooking With The Kids. Sunday, August 3, 2008. Graduation Cake - Wilton 1. Well, she did it! Today was the last class for Wilton 1. And I made sure I had my camera so I could photograph the cake BEFORE we attempted to carry it home. Sadly, last week, the heat from the car melted the cupcakes she designed, thus the lack of pictures from Class 3. A nice close up of our roses -. This is not the finished cake - Sabrina got a little crazy with the frosting after I took this picture, but she had alot of fun.

Cooking With The Kids: Alexander's Chili Cheese Fries

http://www.cookingwiththekids.blogspot.com/2008/08/alexanders-chili-cheese-fries.html

Cooking With The Kids. Saturday, August 9, 2008. Alexander's Chili Cheese Fries. Alexander is finally back in the kitchen, and tonight he made chili cheese fries. First, you have to start with his delicious homemade chili. We had some in the freezer, so getting dinner together was a snap. He used a bag of regular french fries, but instead of deep frying them, he baked them at 425 degrees for about 25 minutes, until they were nice and crispy. Then he put some in his bowl:. And you know what?

Cooking With The Kids: More Ice Cream

http://www.cookingwiththekids.blogspot.com/2008/08/more-ice-cream.html

Cooking With The Kids. Saturday, August 9, 2008. Today, Sabrina tried a new recipe from David Lebovitz's book, "The Perfect Scoop". She loves cheesecake, so why not try Cheesecake Ice Cream? She gathered the ingredients and started measuring them out:. I don't know what it is about the food processor and kids, but they love using it! It tastes just like cheesecake! Smooth and creamy - but surprisingly, the kids didn't like it! August 10, 2008 at 4:58 AM. August 23, 2008 at 7:54 AM.

Trying to get my husband to eat vegetables...: July 2008

http://rachellikestocook.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 18, 2008. M and I have decided to try and takle the newlywed pounds we have put on. So back to low carb it is! I have made plenty of cheeseburgers, steak, chicken breasts, hot dogs, eggs, bacon, sausages, etc. I did make chili verde in the crockpot. M liked it, it was okay, but was lacking something.maybe the rice and beans to go with it! If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to comment! Melted, ...

Tuesday, November 9, 2010. I think I'll be joining you again soon. Yep. Definitely. I'll see you Monday. Friday, June 18, 2010. We have our first tasty watermelon of the year. I've been too chicken to buy one since last year I was cursed with a puny watermelon jinx and I didn't get one all year. And I live in Texas. I got about 5 crappy watermelons before I gave up. But this year, on my first melon, bam! I got a good one. But other than that it's best left simple I guess. Simple is good too. They are the...
