Our Life With Two Beautiful Boys. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Things have been C-R-A-Z-Y crazy lately. Work life is a little stressful right now, we put our house on the market, Ethan was promoted to Mrs. McBride's PreK class at church, VBS was all last week, swim lessons are over tomorrow, airshow was this past weekend, Owen turned 10 months old last Friday and life is just busy in general. Blogger is not being very user friendly. I can't move pictures and it's driving me crazy! That airshow looked cool!

If you know me AT ALL, you know that the planning has already been done and last minute details are what need attention. Some fun facts about little buddy. I'm in trouble now! Saturday, March 21, 2009. Spring Break part 2. The second half of Spring Break the kids and I went up to Missouri to my parents house (farm). The kids just love going there! Thursday, February 11, 2010. Christmas 2009 was spent in Littleton CO at Nathan's moms house. Nathan's older brother and his family were there too. Trying to coordinate 3 family's Christmas traditions into one magic Christmas morning is a lot harder than I thought it would be! Especially when you have older kids who are used to doing it a certain way! Looks like he believes it huh? Ashlyn and Rielyn both wrote notes to Santa the night before and added a couple things that were never mentioned before!

Monday, February 23, 2009. Last week, both Rielyn and Ashlyn had school projects to do! It always happens that way! Last month, they both had to bring snacks on the same day (coincidence)! Thursday, September 29, 2011. Cardiologist Follow Up Appointment. Well, today makes 4 weeks from the day Ethan had his Extra-cardiac Fontan surgery. Before we were discharged from UNC Children's Hospital, the cardiology team scheduled us a follow up appointment at the Raleigh Clinic (Wake Med's Heart Center). Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Feeding Plan and Discharge. A speech therapist came to observe one of his feedings and noticed that he was making some choking sounds when he was trying to eat. A Modified Barium Swallow Study was ordered and we discovered that about 1/3 of what Ethan was taking orally was not making it to his stomach - he was aspirating it into his lungs instead. Monday, August 17, 2009. Summary of Ethan's Journey. Ethan Skidmore, our fourth child, was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome at 19 weeks in utero. We were told he had it very severe and would require a series of three surgeries to make him a “half-heart” baby.
