Tuesday, December 20, 2011. A couple of days ago I thought this was the longest couple of weeks of my life. But now I'm starting to settle in to this lazy mode. I worry I may never come out of it. Monday, February 28, 2011. Kids Safety fair- forget about safety, they scored some awesome stuff- unicorn balloons, hats, necklaces. Bridger really enjoys being a baby. One of his reasons not to potty train or sleep in his own bed. So when he saw a perfectly good infant car seat, it couldn't go to waste. Natalynn is a good mom. Friday, December 31, 2010. For Bridger's birthday he again got trains. Natually, he had a train party. Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Bridger had one request for his birthday: to ride a train. So we took Trax to Temple Square with cousin Kaitlyn. We stayed way past bedtime, but the train home was still fun for our little guy. Saturday, December 25, 2010. Wednesday, November 23, 2011. The dog's name is now Booger Thomas Chooy Bridger. Tuesday, November 22, 2011. I had a pre-surgery appointment today, and asked lots of questions. My defect is 1.9 cm, about 3/4 of an inch. It's considered large, but that's not the reason surgery is necessary. It has no border, so if they were to use a device closure (scope), the device would fail. At that point surgery would be necessary, and it becomes a higher risk. Sunday, October 23, 2011. Being a parent is hard. I have great kids and it's still hard. We've been taking a great parenting class. It's all about the feel-good, boost-your-child's-self-esteem, western parenting stuff. I agreed with it. Then I started reading Battle Hymn Of The Tiger Mother. It's about the super strict, force-them-to-achieve-so-they-can-boost-their-own-self-esteem, goal oriented, chinese style parenting. I agreed with it.
