Wednesday, June 30, 2010. I love walking in the morning. It is so neat to hear all the birds singing and the cool breeze. Tuesday, September 14, 2010. I went to the gym last night and met a very nice young lady she recognized. Me from the challenge. She was very interested in the things we are doing. I didn't think anyone but the people in our group was watching. Us but Hello people are. It made me feel more motivated to keep this going. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. I went in for my first training session on Wednesday. We did cardio workout on the bicycle, treadmill, and elliptical. We also did a whole bunch of different weight workouts. It was a good work out! I look forward to being pushed by my trainer to go further than I think I can. I look forward to the morning for the nutrition class. I think eating is going to be my biggest problem. I am going to take good notes and see what I can do to make my eating habits better.

I'll admit my body felt its age today. Between my bone spur, sore hip and shin, I wasn't looking forward to my workout, especially after Monday. Sunday, September 12, 2010. Preparing for the 5k. I can run on the treadmill on my injured ankle for 30minutes without it hurting, but when I try it on the road; I can last 20-25 minutes before my ankle starts hurting. This week I'm going to do my long runs on the road instead of the treadmill and I'll try on wife's other ankle brace which has a lot more support than the one I've been using. We'll see how that plays out. I guess we'll find out after my run tomorrow! September 16, 2010 at 9:41 PM.
