Wednesday, June 16, 2010. I went in for my first training session on Wednesday. We did cardio workout on the bicycle, treadmill, and elliptical. We also did a whole bunch of different weight workouts. It was a good work out! I look forward to being pushed by my trainer to go further than I think I can. I look forward to the morning for the nutrition class. I think eating is going to be my biggest problem. I am going to take good notes and see what I can do to make my eating habits better.

Wednesday, August 11, 2010. New Eyes but a Year Older. Well, I had my second eye surgery and all is good- I can see! It's also my birthday this week. It's kind of a BIG birthday too. I'll admit my body felt its age today. Between my bone spur, sore hip and shin, I wasn't looking forward to my workout, especially after Monday. I can't believe how it kicks my butt when I do jog, but hey I'm doing it! I did renew my gym membership and plan to continue my workouts, and increase my intensity. Dang, I do love those ABS classes! Sunday, September 12, 2010. Preparing for the 5k. I can run on the treadmill on my injured ankle for 30minutes without it hurting, but when I try it on the road; I can last 20-25 minutes before my ankle starts hurting. This week I'm going to do my long runs on the road instead of the treadmill and I'll try on wife's other ankle brace which has a lot more support than the one I've been using. We'll see how that plays out. I guess we'll find out after my run tomorrow! September 16, 2010 at 9:41 PM.
