The Peak Condition Project - Helen Jane

Friday, April 16, 2010. That went fast but slow. Hard but well, hard. I'm sad to say I didn't do this 100%. But I'm totally happy with my progress. I moved a household of four people and one dog during this process. As well, I have gone from having a 6 week old baby to a 4 month old baby. I've lost 26 pounds. Most importantly, I've learned how to eat again. Can't eat chips any more. I used to love them. Now they're disgusting. I'd rather have fruit. Friday, April 2, 2010. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. The Peak Condition Project - Helen Jane: January 2010

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-helen.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 31, 2010. Day 17 - Confused. In all the crazed flu week o' Hell, I've gotten my days all a'shuffle. I was on day 15, but it was 17. Making progress in spite of myself, I suppose. Husband took a photo today, I was mortified. I think I've read it before, but I feel much thinner than I look. I think it's a testimony to the lightness of the food I've been eating that I feel so good. It's just a shock when my photo doesn't match up to my feeling. However, my muscles? Are all on fire. Wishing I...

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-helen.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Last 14 days - for all of my busy life and mostly PCPing, I'm thrilled with what I've achieved so far. I weigh less than I did on my wedding day 7 years ago.). My scale has a prominent place in our new kitchen. Mama has her workout corner. I'm in a better mood more often. Monday, March 29, 2010. Day 73, Still at it. Haven't been social mediaing re: PCP, but have continued eating and running. House is 80% unpacked. It's fun to have space. I have never been this busy in my life.

The Peak Condition Project - Helen Jane: Day 52, Moving

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-helen.blogspot.com/2010/03/day-52-moving.html

Sunday, March 7, 2010. Day 52, Moving. I'm up to my elbows in boxes. Thank God I measured out all my food. This will be a theme this week. I'm eager to see how many more muscles I have during this week. March 8, 2010 at 12:55 AM. Good luck. This moving around of boxes and stuff is going to be PCP applied to real life! March 8, 2010 at 4:15 AM. Sounds like youre incredibly organized! March 8, 2010 at 11:47 AM. How I love it on PCP! Those boxes must feel light as a feather to you now. Day 73, Still at it.

The Peak Condition Project - Marissa: Day 57: 3%

http://thepeakconditionproject-marissa.blogspot.com/2010/03/day-57-3.html

Friday, March 12, 2010. So I weighed in today- I know I'm not supposed to be checking my weight, but my scale has a bodyfat measurer in it (who knows how accurate, but it's the only one I've got), and you have to let it weigh you to get to the bodyfat percentage part. The good news is that I'm down 3% in bodyfat! Busts out happy dance:. March 12, 2010 at 7:32 PM. March 12, 2010 at 9:25 PM. March 20, 2010 at 5:35 AM. Gonna bust out a Booyah, circa 1995! The Peak Condition Project - Mickey: March 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-mickey.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Day 75 - Huh. A little physical therapy update. Last week my doctor recommended I see a PT. He said there was one in his office that was great. I thought about making an appointment with him, but it's a bit too far up-town and I figured if I have to go like 2-3x a week, I'd prefer one closer to my office. So I disregard his recommendation and begin my search. The lobby is a bit shady and shoddy looking and as it turns out — they are located on a 6th floor walk up! I mean seriousl...

Sunday, January 31, 2010. Even though things have been busy, I still wake up and do the exercises that are mapped out in my diet and for the most part I have stuck to the diet 100%. I am looking forward to getting settled and beginning a new year, at my new place. Everything is getting much easier but I am sure the time is coming where alot more is demanded from us. http://thepeakconditionproject-marissa.blogspot.com/2010/03/day-61-i-have-no-idea-what-time-it-is.html

Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Day 61: I have no idea what time it is. So Daylight Savings Time began again this weekend, and it always throws me for a loop. When DST is in effect, my body loses all sense of what time it is. I know it's only an hour's difference from standard time, but I become so time-disoriented! You know how you usually have some semi-accurate internal clock? On the plus side, it is 6:30pm and it's still gorgeously blue-skied outside. I love springtime. March 16, 2010 at 7:09 PM. The Peak Condition Project - Mickey: Day 84 - Let the count down begin

http://thepeakconditionproject-mickey.blogspot.com/2010/04/day-84-let-count-down-begin.html

Thursday, April 8, 2010. Day 84 - Let the count down begin. Alrighty folks, 6 more days to go. The last couple of days have been quite exhausting with work, and teaching and capoeira, oh and of course, PCP. Patrick also asked us to share an ab exercise. Well I have always loved Gilad, ever since his Bodies in Motion days. I used to work out to this dvd a lot before the peak. It's more about toning the core. Here is a clip of it. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Day 45 - Woohoo Half Way There! 1 I can't believe we are half way through our journey. Congratulations to all my fellow Peakers. 2 A giant THANK YOU to Patrick for eliminating yogurt from my diet this week. I heart you! 4 Jeebus, I slept forever today. Went to bed at 12 last night, woke up a 10am, ate breakfast and then went back to bed at 12 and woke up at 5pm. I guess my body needed it. 5 I love egg whites. 6 If I don't have a rockin badonk-a-donk after 160 lunges I give up.

Monday, March 22, 2010. Anyways, enough about that, how about some food pictures! Up until about 2 weeks ago, I would bring my breakfast to work at eat at my desk (along with lunch and dinner). However recently as I have been trying to do my jumprope in the morning, I'm also trying to eat breakfast at home so I don't have to bring so much to work (and not spend as much time there either :). March 24, 2010 at 3:44 AM. I also wish I could jump automatically in the mornings. When will that happen? The Peak ...

Monday, April 12, 2010. Gotta get ready for work soon. Yesterday was just miserable here with weather reverting to winter-like conditions, but this morning has been great! The sun is out, the temperature is back up, and I got a good jumprope/8 min ab session in before work. Right now just eating breakfast and catching up on everyone's blogs. Life is good! April 13, 2010 at 12:37 AM. Wow, Eric, look at those abs! April 13, 2010 at 5:13 AM. The hard work has really paid off. April 15, 2010 at 2:17 PM.

Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Day 90: The Loneliness at the Peak. Well, that's not the title you expected, was it? Yesterday marked 90 days for me. I guess now I get a big "COMPLETE" stamp on my blog header (I've told Patrick I'd prefer updated pictures since the me of 90 days ago looks a little different than the me of today). Saturday, October 2, 2010. What I've learned - pt. 1 - food. So I'm done. I still can't believe that I made it. I've been so hungry. The fiber is an amazing wonder. Before doing pcp, I was aware in an abstract way that food is the body's fuel and that what you eat affects how you feel, but since I'd always been eating the same things I couldn't really see how better food makes you feel better. Now I've felt it and lived it and it's so clear how much what you eat affects how you feel. 91 Day 90 wrap up.

Tuesday, October 27, 2009. What I ate and what I didn't. On the birthday I consumed:. One glass of champagne. A bite of a donut - I normally would have finished the donut even if it was horrible but I couldn't help but think 'it is sooo not worth it'. I had this box of Belgian chocolates that came with a birthday gift. I gave all the chocolate away except for one piece. Had one bite and then threw the rest away. Tonight I run. Whee! Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Day 3 - PCP redux. Well, folks -. After a great PCP, I've slipped off the wagon. I was hamstrung twice - once with my father dying three weeks after PCP ended, and twice with the development of Achilles tendinitis almost immediately after I started getting back on track (which, truthfully, I could have worked around. Equally truthfully, I didn't. Instead I sulked and overindulged). Eventually, it occurred to me that waiting. Thursday, April 15, 2010. Well, first off -. It ha...

Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Some thoughts after PCP. So, a couple of days after PCP, I tried to re adjust myself into a "normal" life, only realizing that it is not the same as it used to be. For example, my fingers got all puffy in the morning from the salt that I ate the previous day. It was not that salty because I cooked by myself using a moderate amount of ingredients. Behold the power of salt. At National Geographic, which I did a while ago. No wonder they are all large. Weight: 60.2kg - 53.8kg. In 3 ...

Thursday, December 16, 2010. Alright. it's been several days and, much like the rest of the team, I keep thinking I'll have a nice inspired post to wrap everything up. I get little pieces of what I want to write, but it doesn't flow the way I want, so now I'll just get going with it. Thursday, December 16, 2010. Ok, this will be my final post, I promise! I LOVE the maintenance workouts. I planned to take tuesday off except got itchy for a workout and did 8 minute abs and 15 minutes of jumprope. The last two days I've done full workouts from day 67 and 72 to try and keep myself at a high level. However, the new maintenance workouts have put an end to that! I'm really looking forward to christmas, and I'd like to wish everyone on this project a merry christmas and a happy new year!
