The Peak Condition Project - Ian

Thursday, December 16, 2010. Alright. it's been several days and, much like the rest of the team, I keep thinking I'll have a nice inspired post to wrap everything up. I get little pieces of what I want to write, but it doesn't flow the way I want, so now I'll just get going with it. I dropped a to-go pizza from a local restaurant into my diet this week and, boy, did that drag me down. The next day I woke up thirsty and sluggish. basically miserable. Oh yeah, that's here to stay. Food now. She's been...

The Peak Condition Project - Ian: Day 90 (Not the final...)

http://thepeakconditionproject-ian.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-90-not-final.html

Monday, December 13, 2010. Day 90 (Not the final.). So I just finished my day 90 workout. The hardest parts? The waits between sets. so much energy sitting, poised to pound out more. The energy left over after the workout. again, so much energy, like a coiled spring! The abs were really the best for a laugh. I can remember how horrible they felt. Now, after so many days of v-sits, kung-fus, and 8 minute abs, these weren't a problem! Okay off to consider what my final post really should be.

The Peak Condition Project - Ian: October 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-ian.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 28, 2010. I plan on crashing the Team Orange Crush party there in Tokyo by inserting my Team Cookie Monster self into their homebase. Honestly, I’m quite excited to have a chance to meet both Patrick as well as some contingent of the other half of our project! It’s been a blast telling people around the office that I’ve got 10 people to meet when I get to Japan. (Bill thanks for the invite, as I. Take you up… but do you commonly invite people to JBlo’s flat? In other news…. Saturday we&...

http://thepeakconditionproject-ian.blogspot.com/2010/12/deciding-on-ink.html

Tuesday, December 7, 2010. After yesterday's post, Patrick posed the question: " Can you share why you chose that tattoo in that location? I do know that when the idea of 'know thyself' came to me, I didn't want it to be in English. perhaps because I'm exposed to the Roman alphabet all the time, I wanted to do it in some other alphabet. After a little time with the idea, it only made sense to be in Greek. December 7, 2010 at 8:37 AM. December 7, 2010 at 5:56 PM. December 9, 2010 at 2:02 PM. The chest is ...

The Peak Condition Project - Ian: November 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-ian.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Ready for the jump rope show? You see. I've been in on a little secret since my trip to Japan. We're all going to meet up in a secret location and do this routine. Friday, November 26, 2010. Let's see. I'm still a bit wrapped around the "lack of difference" in my body shape, so I decided to take a comparative look, perhaps a little early given that we've got 17 days remaining. We'll start with the relaxed front shot. comparing 1 and 73. I've done some prep for day 90 - I've or...

http://thepeakconditionproject-ellen.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-80-in-zone.html

Friday, December 3, 2010. Day 80: In the Zone. I am going to try to work in 8 minute abs everyday until the end. Let's knock it out Team Cookie Monster! Also, I finally got a chance to connect my camera sooo new (and old) pics are posted - sorry for the delay! December 3, 2010 at 3:32 PM. December 4, 2010 at 3:50 AM. Youre going to be a great inspiration for those kids. You know how to motivate them! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What IS The Peak Condition Project? Day 87: Guilty as charged!

The Peak Condition Project - Erin: *sigh*

http://thepeakconditionproject-erin.blogspot.com/2010/11/sigh.html

Tuesday, November 16, 2010. First, thanks everybody for your congratulations. Simon and I are really loving our little man! Between 12:30 and 3 this morning I had an email chat with Patrick. Perhaps the time reference will tell you where this is headed. He had the sense to ask me how my PCP was going now that I have a baby. My answer: not well. The thing is, I sleep in spurts, I’m exhausted, and I just can’t give it all I’ve got. As Patrick said, why risk getting sick and why bother...So, Patrick’s...

The Peak Condition Project - Erin: October 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-erin.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Day 43 - I love week 7! First, let me say that I can't tell you all how much "as much as you want" means to me. Now, twice a day, I can just pile the veggies on and not have to measure something. I can make soup again! Also, as you know, I hate lunges, but today, after not doing them for a while, I realized how much easier they are. All those leg lifts and bicycles (that pain the front of all our legs? And finally, how great is it to just set a timer to jump? 1 I can see line...

The Peak Condition Project - Ellen: Day 81 & 82: Good Weekend

http://thepeakconditionproject-ellen.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-81-82-good-weekend.html

Sunday, December 5, 2010. Day 81 and 82: Good Weekend. Good news is I played in a volleyball tournament all day Saturday and my team ended up going undefeated and won! Bad news is after the tourney, I had no energy left to do the PCP exercises. So it's only Sunday and I feel like I've got a whole day of no set plans and can finally have a day to do whatever I want. Have a good day Team Cookie monster teammates! December 5, 2010 at 10:10 AM. Great work with the volleyball, congratulations are in order!

The Peak Condition Project - Susan: What a long, strange trip it's been.

http://thepeakconditionproject-susan.blogspot.com/2010/12/what-long-strange-trip-its-been.html

Monday, December 13, 2010. What a long, strange trip it's been. Coke is nasty, by the way. Water is the bomb-diggity, yo. I have to cut this short because I'm falling asleep on the keyboard. I don't know exactly when there will be pictures, but there will be pictures. And a killer, black, floor-length opera dress will be among them. December 13, 2010 at 11:42 PM. Congratulations Susan. Being glad the PCP is over is a sign of sanity! December 14, 2010 at 9:31 AM. December 14, 2010 at 6:42 PM.

The Peak Condition Project - Jack: October 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-jack.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Pictures for week 7 are up, hope everyone had a great Halloween! I'll post properly tomorrow, see you then! Saturday, October 30, 2010. Actually, I'm not a huge halloween fan for one reason or another. I won't be trick or treating don't worry, but I was confused by Patricks day 47 E-mail (timezone difference I get all the E-mails for the next day in the evening) are we allowed eat some "treat" things today? See everyone tomorrow, happy Halloween! Thursday, October 28, 2010.

The Peak Condition Project - Jack: Day 84 A good few days!

http://thepeakconditionproject-jack.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-84-good-few-days.html

Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Day 84 A good few days! It was great, but I sure felt the effects at the end of the day! Annoyingly, the weather has forced the school to cancel so many exam days so I still have Math tomorrow. Its frustrating, but the snow has been a real laugh. I've finally graduated fully to the full pull ups. I did 50 today, and it was mightily tough but fun! So, only 6 days left. It really has zoomed by even though the first month took FOREVER! Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Day 77 jumprope in a blizzard and pull ups. Even as I write this its coming down. It was an interesting experience jumproping in a snow storm. It was a besutiful sight, but an unpleasant feeling all the same. My exams roll on I'm afraid though, and its English up next, a big 'un! It was a great game, my inspiration, Cristiano Ronaldo, didn't have a great evening (playing for Madrid). So, pull ups, pull ups, pull ups.why are you so damn tough! Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Obligatory weight loss big pants shot. And to Team Cookie Monster, we did it. I sincerely appreciate everyone's support as well reading about everyone's successes and lessons learned. I leave you with me baking, mostly because I like the juxtaposition of the Arm&Hammer box next to my guns. December 15, 2010 at 11:31 AM. Same with me, I had a mince pie yesterday and liked it but I couldnt wait to get back to clean eating. December 16, 2010 at 6:19 AM. Hey Brian, way to go!

The Peak Condition Project - Jack: Day 78 It keeps getting better! (And photos!)

http://thepeakconditionproject-jack.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-78-it-keeps-getting-better-and.html

Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Day 78 It keeps getting better! The snow keeps chucking down. School closed today (and possibly tomorrow! And 8 inches of snow on the ground. Last night I fully expected the snow to come to an end, but I awoke this morning with a sight to behold, a white wonderland! Jumprope was very interesting, a lot of shovelling and brushing was required to clear my jumprope space (not to mention salt). The exercises were tough today, very tough! Ok, to the real importance stuff, results!

Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Day 3 - PCP redux. Well, folks -. After a great PCP, I've slipped off the wagon. I was hamstrung twice - once with my father dying three weeks after PCP ended, and twice with the development of Achilles tendinitis almost immediately after I started getting back on track (which, truthfully, I could have worked around. Equally truthfully, I didn't. Instead I sulked and overindulged). Eventually, it occurred to me that waiting. Thursday, April 15, 2010. Well, first off -. It ha...

Friday, April 16, 2010. That went fast but slow. Hard but well, hard. I'm sad to say I didn't do this 100%. But I'm totally happy with my progress. I moved a household of four people and one dog during this process. As well, I have gone from having a 6 week old baby to a 4 month old baby. I've lost 26 pounds. Most importantly, I've learned how to eat again. Can't eat chips any more. I used to love them. Now they're disgusting. I'd rather have fruit. Friday, April 2, 2010. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Some thoughts after PCP. So, a couple of days after PCP, I tried to re adjust myself into a "normal" life, only realizing that it is not the same as it used to be. For example, my fingers got all puffy in the morning from the salt that I ate the previous day. It was not that salty because I cooked by myself using a moderate amount of ingredients. Behold the power of salt. At National Geographic, which I did a while ago. No wonder they are all large. Weight: 60.2kg - 53.8kg. In 3 ...

Thursday, September 30, 2010. Day - 90 First step - done - whats next. I think it is a quote from Mao, that a trip of 10,000 miles begins with a 1st step. Well we just now finished our first step, 9,999 more to go, however they do not seem intimidating nor long, I can easily say bring it on. The changes just from 90 day are amazing, but the fundamental changes are even more amazing for me - eating right, good food that is accessible, tasty and healthy, more important control and planning of eating and dr...

Thursday, December 16, 2010. Ok, this will be my final post, I promise! I LOVE the maintenance workouts. I planned to take tuesday off except got itchy for a workout and did 8 minute abs and 15 minutes of jumprope. The last two days I've done full workouts from day 67 and 72 to try and keep myself at a high level. However, the new maintenance workouts have put an end to that! I'm really looking forward to christmas, and I'd like to wish everyone on this project a merry christmas and a happy new year!
