The Peak Condition Project - Jackie

Sunday, 1 May 2011. I have fallen back into old eating habits and having been doing any exercises due to concern for my foot injury. I'm surprised by how the past week has highlighted the immense importance of pcp community motivation. I will be back home on Tuesday and it will be easier to stick to the program so I will redouble my efforts when I get back. Monday, 25 April 2011. Day 10 and 11 - Mon 24th and Tues 25th. Then there was a 2 hour flight to Shanghai - ate an airline lunch. By the time we ...

Monday, 25 April 2011. Day 10 and 11 - Mon 24th and Tues 25th. Sorry I haven't been able to read or comment on people's blogs. Have been in China since day 10 on a package tour without access to the internet. My sister is acting as a go between. Thanks sis! I did reps in the morning. Had breakfast, which was buffet style so I stocked up on fruit and veg and estimated amounts by sight. I couldn't lay my hands on any milk or egg. Had some sausage for protein. All the food on the tour is provided so lunch a...

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-jackie.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-3-sun-17th-apr.html

Sunday, 17 April 2011. Day 3 - Sun 17th Apr. Breakfast: half a bowl of oatmeal. Lunch: half a chicken wing, half a bowl of fish ball noodle soup, and one small coconut biscuit. Snack: 2 handfuls of prawn crackers. Dinner: 4 small pieces of pork (approx. 100 grams total? And maybe a cup of cucumber-mint-coconut salad. Exercise - did the skips in the morning then felt lethargic, so lazed about then went out for lunch and did the reps in the evening. Found out I've not been doing the squats properly.

The Peak Condition Project - Tony: Day 87 more stories from the kitchen

http://thepeakconditionproject-tony.blogspot.com/2011/07/day-87-more-stories-from-kitchen.html

Sunday, July 10, 2011. Day 87 more stories from the kitchen. The end of a busy weekend down at the beach. Breakfast my skin cirnges when people order fried eggs, am so used to poached eggs or boile eggs these days, Yet the secret to a good scrambled egg is adding cream to them not PCP friendly as l found out when I served them to Lori, check her blog out for the rest of the story. Thinking this is what one does or am l completly a PCP convert, Lori mentioned why not d V sit ups for a joke. I notice layin...

Saturday, April 30, 2011. Any way feeling great looking forward to more. Good night sleep helps too. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. 13 days down. I had to do one without my scale, because I dropped it. I think it went fine and I picked up a new one with grams so I don't have to convert to ounces. When is the rest of the world going to stop using metric anyway? Here's breakfast with out the scale. Looks about right. Monday, April 25, 2011. Sunday, April 24, 2011. I'm sure at some poi...

The Peak Condition Project - David: Day 76 - The real indulgence

http://thepeakconditionproject-davideb.blogspot.com/2011/06/day-76-real-indulgence.html

Thursday, June 30, 2011. Day 76 - The real indulgence. This indulgence ended up being the same as my first. Four slices of pizza with lots of cheese and pepperoni from my favorite pizza joint in the town where I grew up. It was very tasty going down, but. Salt = dry mouth. Eat bad food, feel bad. Eat healthy food, feel healthy. June 30, 2011 at 7:06 AM. Agree 100%. The indulgences taste good, but teach valuable lessons at a cost! July 2, 2011 at 4:44 AM. Right on the money! Day 76 - The real indulgence.

http://thepeakconditionproject-davideb.blogspot.com/2011/07/day-88-one-of-my-best-workouts.html

Monday, July 11, 2011. Day 88 - One of my best workouts! 2400 jumps in 18 consecutive minutes- with only a few trips on the rope- it seems so natural! Did the pull-ups and chest-dips to failure- my body was craving them! Relished the quiet while doing it all! Almost done with the formal part of the program, but will never be done with eating healthier, exercising and making better choices! July 12, 2011 at 4:55 AM. July 12, 2011 at 3:13 PM. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Day 76 And Indulgence. The work outs are getting tough. 60 chin ups damn. And I have been having a hard time with doing lots of planks at the end of the work out, but the other day I was able to pull off the 5 90 second planks which felt great. I'm sure there's more to talk about, but that's all for now. June 29, 2011 at 7:02 PM. I think your indulgence sounds fantastic! I love PB&Js (hot fudge sundaes also)! It burned burned burned! The Peak Condition Project - Lori: Day 90 (late)

http://thepeakconditionproject-lori.blogspot.com/2011/07/day-90-late.html

Wednesday, July 20, 2011. So this post is a week late. I hate to be this far behind. I had an incident that left me with a slight concission and a huge knot on my head and the rest of the week out of the office (unPCP related). Anyway, well on the road to recovery and started working out again on Monday. I am very thankful for all the support of my great group and friends that were past PCP and non PCP people and especially Patrick! July 20, 2011 at 4:15 PM. July 20, 2011 at 6:27 PM. Thursday, June 30, 2011. Also, I really enjoy the jump rope so I started doing 7x3 earlier this week. At this point it is pretty easy so it is no problem. I am averaging around 800 jumps per 7 minutes. The number of jumps is not really critical although I find that counting helps make the time go by. Day 76 - The real indulgence. Salt = dry mouth. Eat bad food, feel bad. Eat healthy food, feel healthy. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Day 72 - Indulgence. A side of seaweed was a perfect compliment. BTW, I comple...

The Peak Condition Project - Hiroko

Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Some thoughts after PCP. So, a couple of days after PCP, I tried to re adjust myself into a "normal" life, only realizing that it is not the same as it used to be. For example, my fingers got all puffy in the morning from the salt that I ate the previous day. It was not that salty because I cooked by myself using a moderate amount of ingredients. Behold the power of salt. At National Geographic, which I did a while ago. No wonder they are all large. Weight: 60.2kg - 53.8kg. In 3 ...

Thursday, December 16, 2010. Alright. it's been several days and, much like the rest of the team, I keep thinking I'll have a nice inspired post to wrap everything up. I get little pieces of what I want to write, but it doesn't flow the way I want, so now I'll just get going with it. I dropped a to-go pizza from a local restaurant into my diet this week and, boy, did that drag me down. The next day I woke up thirsty and sluggish. basically miserable. Oh yeah, that's here to stay. Thursday, September 30, 2010. Day - 90 First step - done - whats next. I think it is a quote from Mao, that a trip of 10,000 miles begins with a 1st step. Well we just now finished our first step, 9,999 more to go, however they do not seem intimidating nor long, I can easily say bring it on. The changes just from 90 day are amazing, but the fundamental changes are even more amazing for me - eating right, good food that is accessible, tasty and healthy, more important control and planning of eating and dr...

Thursday, December 16, 2010. Ok, this will be my final post, I promise! I LOVE the maintenance workouts. I planned to take tuesday off except got itchy for a workout and did 8 minute abs and 15 minutes of jumprope. The last two days I've done full workouts from day 67 and 72 to try and keep myself at a high level. However, the new maintenance workouts have put an end to that! I'm really looking forward to christmas, and I'd like to wish everyone on this project a merry christmas and a happy new year!

Saturday, December 13, 2008. 1 week post PCP. Well one week post PCP and I can't bring myself to eat all the junk that I used to, and I also can't get out of the jump rope habit! My day is not complete without a spot of jumping. Actually it feels good to be doing it for enjoyment, rather than feeling I have to. .
