The Peak Condition Project - Jason Block: September 2010

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-jasonb.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Passed by a middle eastern joint today and wondered, is hummus on the menu? Monday, September 27, 2010. Workouts are going fine, I think I need to get a "heavier" resistance cord because for some of the exercises I find my current one a bit light while for others it is fine. When it feels to easy after the reps we are supposed to do, I add more until I feel my muscle wearing out. Friday, September 24, 2010. Day 8 thru 10 and a half. Waiter: "we don't, they're fresh",. Me: "...

The Peak Condition Project - Jason Block: The Gym....

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-jasonb.blogspot.com/2010/12/gym.html

Sunday, December 5, 2010. You can really see the people wasting their time vs those who are getting some benefit, I have seen the same people there each and every lunch time for the last 3m, and in at LEAST 60% of the cases, they haven't changed a bit in 3 months of working out 4-5x a week. I thought about posting a flyer for PCP the other day. One week to go. December 6, 2010 at 2:46 AM. Learn from their mistakes! December 6, 2010 at 4:57 AM. What gym do you go to? The Peak Condition Project - Jason Block: October 2010

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-jasonb.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Day 48 - Progress? Protein, all chicken outside of the milk and eggs. No salt, sugar (using honey in the dinner shake), nothing processed. I am using cheese on occasion, but in tiny amounts so don't think I am straying too far from the prescribed course, still I am waiting for more visible results. I think it is the pull up bar I have at home, the way it fits in the door from is not conducive to those sit ups, will see how it goes at the gym this week. Wednesday, October 27, 2010.

The Peak Condition Project - Jason Block: Less than 2 weeks to go...

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-jasonb.blogspot.com/2010/11/less-than-2-weeks-to-go.html

Monday, November 29, 2010. Less than 2 weeks to go. November 29, 2010 at 7:19 PM. Put on some tunes and use the jumprope time to enjoy some music. Makes the sets fly by. November 30, 2010 at 2:01 AM. I hear you on the indulgence! I know its there, but I have not interest.kind of like Fantasy football at this point. For the Jump Rope, Put on Emiem Loose yourself followed by Evenesance going under. Sprint the chorus lines. Gypsy Kings is a good beat to warm up to. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Peak Condition Project - Andy: Indulgence

http://thepeakconditionproject-andy.blogspot.com/2010/12/indulgence.html

Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Before I get to my wonderful meal, I need to blog out about a conversation I had today. I spoke in detail about my 75 days of PCP and that it has been a life changing event which has allowed me to curb my desires for many things that are in no way shape or form good for me. The most important thing that I feel I have overcome is the need to drink. Lets be honest, I was drinking way too much. WTFit just wound me up so tightly ALL DAY. I needed to blog it out. Probably went sli...

Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Day 90 - What a ride. Period. There were a ton of ups and downs, but PCP is so brilliantly structured, you have the support of your group and you have the pictures, always the pictures, to track your progress. The changes really are incredible. Blown away. And, what's that you say Fish, it's sustainable? Day 1 side, yuck. Day 90 - Bruce Lee isn't here right now, can I help you? Day 1, socks and flab. Aaaand honey sesame glazed carrots, a bunch of other veggie dishes, some milk, some apple cider, a couple slices of pumpkin pie with whipped cream, a couple slices of apple pie with vanilla ice cream, some cookies, maybe a coffee towards the end. OK I am being melodramatic but I feel like a zombie at the moment. Today's workout killed Reed and me. I felt I was going to collapse after the floor jumps and again after the ab exercises. To the fire i' the blood: be more abstemious. So, yeah, I borrowed something. Of the above from Shakespeare. Can you guess which part? That's right, it was the hair. The Peak Condition Project - Andy: Missed my first workout!

http://thepeakconditionproject-andy.blogspot.com/2010/12/missed-my-first-workout.html

Saturday, December 4, 2010. Missed my first workout! Played golf yesterday out in Hakone, about 100 km from Tokyo. Up at 5, left at 5 30 and straight onto the links. The course is cut into the side of a mountain, and is over 7000 yards in total length with probably 150 - 200 feet of vertical climb. Considering that I cant keep the ball on the fairways, I walked for 6 hours straight (no carts allowed! Woke up at midnight. Slept til 7, and was more sore today than I have been in weeks! Scale today said 78&...

Thursday, September 30, 2010. Day - 90 First step - done - whats next. I think it is a quote from Mao, that a trip of 10,000 miles begins with a 1st step. Well we just now finished our first step, 9,999 more to go, however they do not seem intimidating nor long, I can easily say bring it on. The changes just from 90 day are amazing, but the fundamental changes are even more amazing for me - eating right, good food that is accessible, tasty and healthy, more important control and planning of eating and dr...

Thursday, December 16, 2010. Ok, this will be my final post, I promise! I LOVE the maintenance workouts. I planned to take tuesday off except got itchy for a workout and did 8 minute abs and 15 minutes of jumprope. The last two days I've done full workouts from day 67 and 72 to try and keep myself at a high level. However, the new maintenance workouts have put an end to that! I'm really looking forward to christmas, and I'd like to wish everyone on this project a merry christmas and a happy new year!

Sunday, 1 May 2011. I have fallen back into old eating habits and having been doing any exercises due to concern for my foot injury. I'm surprised by how the past week has highlighted the immense importance of pcp community motivation. Saturday, December 13, 2008. 1 week post PCP. Well one week post PCP and I can't bring myself to eat all the junk that I used to, and I also can't get out of the jump rope habit! My day is not complete without a spot of jumping. Actually it feels good to be doing it for enjoyment, rather than feeling I have to. . My last day photos amazed me, mainly because I don't spend much time looking at myself in the mirror, especially my back. I wouldn't recognize me from behind! Saturday, December 6, 2008. I am fe...

Thursday, August 5, 2010. Greetings from the Post-PCP Life! Mom and I flexing at 12,000 feet: Independence Pass, CO. It's been a crazy ride. I put off the 'thoughts-after-90-days' post because immediately after finishing PCP, I got sick! Listening to my body and acknowledging I was really sick helped. Going to the doctor helped. The Peak Condition Project - Jeremiah Andrick

Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Ok… So 90 came and went. So you may or probably may not be asking yourself, why hasn’t Jeremiah posted his last post.  There are two reasons:. As always I am on the road. I couldn’t find my camera. So I am going to tell you my story and add shot from someone else because I have that. So lets get real. What did I achieve:. I lost 15 lbs.  . I am now a size 33 jeans down from 36. I am a size 16.5 dress shirt down from 17.5 . I had to get my glasses tightened. I suck at pull ups.
