Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Got my race on - finally! This weekend I ran a 5K! It was my first race in almost a year, my first race since having a baby, and my first race since moving to the continent of South America. Considering I really only trained for about a week I guess it went well enough. I actually had to stop and walk a couple of times, which is something I used to never have to do. Our oldest daughter and nephew were also there waiting for us because they had gotten up early to go watch us run.

Friday, January 15, 2010. Okay, so after the holidays and 8 weeks postpartum, my starting weight was 152. Today it was 149. My diet was a clean 1400-1700 calories every day. My workout was as follows:. Monday-3 mile run and 15 minutes pilates/core. Tuesday-Calisthenics/plyometrics 3 sets each of:. 115 overhead arm claps. 15 box squats with 5 lb. dumbell. 1 minute sprint at 8.0. Wednesday-3 mile run (6.0 for 3 minutes 7.5 for 1 minute=interval). With Lori's coaching and motivation, I have improved my health to the point that I no longer need my blood pressure medication. My energy level and attitude have improved dramatically.
