The Kung Fu Body - Patrick Reynolds: July 2010
http://thekungfubody-patrick.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 26, 2010. Last week was my birthday (thanks to all wellwishers! This birthday I continued an idea I've had for a while. With each passing year I only want to get stronger and healthier, even as people my age trend towards carrying that extra ten pounds around the gut and sacrificing a certain percentage of their health for their careers. Here's a photo I took on my birthday in my favorite Shao Lin Stance:. Monday, July 19, 2010. It happens to me sometimes. I'll suddenly lose 50% of my ra...

Monday, June 21, 2010. The Best and Worst of Us. On our journey through life it can be so easy to focus on the darker side of humanity. The wars, the greed, the backstabbing, cowardice, corruption and misery. Every news site you visit today will simply be a new mix of these old ingredients. I'm glad to be sharing this spark with my fellow KFBers! Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Lean Strong Flexible Agile. I've never been functionally stronger. Friday, June 4, 2010. I had a long week. The Kung Fu Body - Lili: I made a pause
http://thekungfubody-lili.blogspot.com/2010/07/i-made-pause.html
July 21, 2010. I made a pause. First of all, thank you dear KFBers for your encouragement. Your words made me smile and gave me energy. Which brings me to how crucial it is to write and get feedback on our blogs. It would be very easy to just forget about getting into better shape without this space. Now, I have to confess that I haven't been doing my workout for the past couple of days. My excuse would be that I am feeling very tired with all this packing and coordinating. The Kung Fu Body - Lili: June 2010
http://thekungfubody-lili.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
June 29, 2010. But I have to admit that I suck at shadow boxing. It must be like when someone wants to dance and discovers there's no rhythm in her hips and feet. Like watching everyone around you move easily and you think you got it and when you stand up and do it. you just suck! How can I be light and fast and dangerous? Links to this post. June 28, 2010. In the spirit of KFB I have been extra mindful not only on Friday but the days after. Here are some images of the magnitude of life around me! Thanks...

Kung Fu Body - Shivani: PAU. (a wink and a smile)
http://thekungfubody-shivani.blogspot.com/2010/08/pau-wink-and-smile.html
Saturday, August 21, 2010. PAU (a wink and a smile). Pau" means finished in Hawaiian. I know we're all winking and smiling because how can one ever "complete" the project of mental and physical health? How can I stop training, despite the fact that my jumprope broke on Day 90 (bittersweet, but definitely not a sign that jump roping is no longer on the menu. Thank you, Mr. Rope, for 180 days of fun times together)? The good stuff on TED, Coach Jen. Angela at Bend and Bloom Yoga. My spiritual leader, Amber.

July 8, 2010. The trip to Holland was amazing. Rotterdam and Amsterdam are fantastic cities. The first with experimental architecture and wide open spaces and the second with old buildings and very crowded. The positive is that I felt the advantage of being fit. You can take a few days off if necessary and use the energy you have acquired, trust your body, feel alive. A haring matjes makes you feel strong! My love for peppers grew stronger and wilder. Now, some photos for my KFBers:. Thanks for the pics!

Kung Fu Body - Shivani: Meditating, Malitol
http://thekungfubody-shivani.blogspot.com/2010/07/meditating-malitol.html
Friday, July 16, 2010. Yesterday I had a massive sugar craving, and decided to give into my desire for something sweet. Rather than pick something KFB friendly, like an extra piece of fruit with honey, I went balls out and decided to consume something as far from nature as Heidi Montag's new profile. You see, I wanted chocolate. Why didn't I just get a nice little piece of the high quality dark stuff? Maybe there's something I'm resisting? July 16, 2010 at 4:33 PM. July 17, 2010 at 1:19 AM.
