The Peak Condition Project - Makoto

Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Woke up at 4:00. Update last weeks blog. Then picked up day 5 exercise and did it quickly. Took some day 90 photos. Today's weight was 56.6 kg. Lost 8 kg, from 65 kg to 57 kg. It is funny to see the change in the comparison photo. Maybe not so surprising but according to the result of the blood test I got a lot healthier than before. As far as I remember this was the first time I got the normal numbers for the liver functions test. Monday, August 29, 2011. Woke up at 6:00....

The Peak Condition Project - Allan: July 2011

http://thepeakconditionproject-allan.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 5 July 2011. Doing an exercise where you need to stand on the resistence band, best to make sure it's secure. mine slipped from under my foot the this morning and the result was a mite painful. Also, tried some crossover moves during tthe skipping. didnt really go according to plan and managed to whip myself. i wonder if this would have been worse with a leather jump rope? Does this have any bearing on the decision to a buy leather jump rope? Now got a few marks Spartacus would be proud of!

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Ready, Steady, Go! That's it. I just came back from Royal Mirage Tagine (a Moroccan restaurant) to enjoy the last meal of the old Karim. Came back and given the timezone, it is now 12 AM Dubai time. Tomorrow seems to be a little easy though i am wondering if we should do exercises during the morning or the evening. Ropes were bought couple of days back so ready to embark on this crazy journey. My colleagues are aware of this and they will be watching out carefully the blog.

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. PCP - Day 1. My main reason on doing the PCP was because of my family. Being nearly 40 and having a young family is a little scary and I don't want my lack of fitness or unhealthiness to stop me from being able throw or kick the ball to my son when he wants to. The Peak Condition Project- Fleur: COMPLETE!

http://thepeakconditionproject-fleur.blogspot.com/2011/08/complete.html

Wednesday, 31 August 2011. WOW, its over. This feels weird. I feel a bit like I'm on a come down. The past 3months have been intense, hard work, a little depressing at times, stressful, educational, liberating, triumphant, energetic, moody. a rollercoaster! I remember reading the closing statements of PCP'ers before me saying how they have changed their ways for the long term and I remember wondering what that would feel like and how on earth does a person get there! The 1500 maintanence skips are someth...

The Peak Condition Project- Fleur: Day 71- Refelctive

http://thepeakconditionproject-fleur.blogspot.com/2011/08/day-71-refelctive.html

Thursday, 11 August 2011. So I let the yoke run out and I ate the white. I was so pleased that they accomodated me. I didn't want to skip another dinner. I've learned that there are knock on effects of doing that and I hope I don't ever do it again. Got to keep the metabolism active. So I've got 40 minutes of extra cardio everday now. My work outs are 90 minutes plus now. I wish there was some way I could buy some time! 11 August 2011 at 12:59. 11 August 2011 at 16:21. Restaurants can be good if you ask ...

The Peak Condition Project - Sully: PCP Day 80

http://thepeakconditionproject-sully.blogspot.com/2011/08/pcp-day-80.html

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. The plan was to go to an italian restaurant but ended up at Pizzakaya instead. Was very restrained and only had half a medium pizza with a side salad and a couple of chicken wings. I reckon my wife's vegetarian half was actually bigger. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Peak Condition Project - Lili

Friday, April 16, 2010. There is so much to say about an experience so intense as this one of going through a PCP. I decided that a good way to write about the different aspects of this adventure would be as an "interview" with questions I have asked myself and questions my friends have asked me. Why did I sign up for PCP in the first place? What were my PCP goals? First, to go through a test. I needed some discipline to shake up my anarchic lifestyle. Which goals did I achieve? I'm close to my physical ...

Wednesday, July 20, 2011. So this post is a week late. I hate to be this far behind. I had an incident that left me with a slight concission and a huge knot on my head and the rest of the week out of the office (unPCP related). Anyway, well on the road to recovery and started working out again on Monday. I am very thankful for all the support of my great group and friends that were past PCP and non PCP people and especially Patrick! Sunday, July 10, 2011. Monday, July 4, 2011. But Jose and I already wishing we could build a time machine to go back to last weekend; it was just the most fun EVER. Before I forget to add this later on; I don’t know HOW I would have made it. Hate being ill, it is so d. Im beginning see the last 9.

Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Were very close on the finish line and not feeling that good. Exercise time is really long and having all that time has been hard. Also in Colombia this week was a long weekend which makes ir easier for me to cheat on the diet (specially with drinks! Until now, Im feeling that the PCP has taught me self control. Now I can eat aware of what food cad do to my body and exercise too. Saturday, June 11, 2011. After being really disciplined with the PCP, last days have been tough! Again ...

Tuesday, December 9, 2008. We had a lovely dinner at D’epice yesterday evening. Thank you! Although Patrick was rather surprised with our “healthier” choice of venue it was a perfect ending and a new start – although I must confess I probably had a glass too many! Thank you Jodi for taking the kiddos and of course your support throughout! Will try and update my new life post pcp but at the moment, I am happy to have completed the program. Thanks again Corry, Patrick and Chen! Here are a few images I took...

Thursday, July 1, 2010. So i have not updated for a while (as usual). I have been completly stressed out with new job, school and moving, so my ability to do pcp has been dwindeling. At the moment im also without internet. As of said before , im very happy with the results I have seen so far, and I know they would have been even more if I had been able to stick to it theese last weeks. So Im back on the plan today, just to finish and do the last two weeks. Sunday, June 20, 2010. It feels like a small week.

Thursday, March 25, 2010. Day 70: Jacked up. My shoulder is jacked up. That workout from day 63 was the final straw for it. It's been unworkable since then. I can do my cardio and my legs, but anything involving the arms is a no-go. It sucks, it pisses me off, but I pushed to keep up when I should've been taking it easier, and now I have to rest it for an extended period. (Swell.). I don't have anything else to add at this point- just frustrated. Upset. Sore. Thursday, March 18, 2010. I lose mine when we...

Monday, May 30, 2011. Well, everything I wanted to say on my final blog I've already said over the course of the last 90 days - the ups, the downs and the un-mentionables. Only thing that remains to be said is a BIG thank you to all for your enthusiasm and encouragement. Patrick, your no-nonsense, common sense approach has been great and things came together nicely at the end like you said they would all along - well played! Thursday, July 14, 2011. DAY 90 - SEEEEEEE YA! And now the end is near,. And so I face the final curtain,. Ive loved , ive laughed ive certainly cried,. I've had my fill, my share of losing,. And now as tears subside,. I find it all so amusing. We did it everyone! Its no secret that the last 6 weeks of this were very tough for me but with the unwavering support from Patrick and the PCP group i got there in the end! Its amazing how good things have started happening to me! WHERE IS THE BEACH? 23 days to go.
