The Peak Condition Project - Sully

Friday, September 2, 2011. Day 90 - End of Days. That 90 days went pretty quick - along with the rest of 2011. It is amazing what you can do with a little willpower and a bit of help from some guys who know what they are doing. I started the program on holiday in Bali on June 1st after our friends' wedding and although I was pretty strict on the exercises in the first week, I found it hard to restrict my eating to 1/2 portions as a lot of the eating was buffet style - and was soooo good. I lost just over...

The Peak Condition Project - Sully: June 2011

http://thepeakconditionproject-sully.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Sunday, June 26, 2011. Well, I have brought the number of roast chickens successfully skinned to 3 over the last 3 weeks. Have hesitated posting this in case roast chicken is out and it is forever forbidden. The creep nearly killed me. The first 20 steps were fine but the last 20 in each set were murder and trying to stand up at the end of 40 was extremely difficult. feel that burn. Friday, June 24, 2011. No photos this week. Have been a bit lazy with the preparation and cooking as it is pretty busy ...

The Peak Condition Project - Sully: PCP Day 85

http://thepeakconditionproject-sully.blogspot.com/2011/08/pcp-day-85.html

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Only 5 days left. The workouts this week are going to be hard especially with the introduction of Supersets - the combination of 2-3 exercises immediately after each other. Going to push through and finish to try and lose the last couple of pesky kgs to reach my goal of 100. August 26, 2011 at 9:22 PM. Best of luck in the final few days and reaching that goal of 100! The Peak Condition Project - Sully: PCP Day 80

http://thepeakconditionproject-sully.blogspot.com/2011/08/pcp-day-80.html

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. The plan was to go to an italian restaurant but ended up at Pizzakaya instead. Was very restrained and only had half a medium pizza with a side salad and a couple of chicken wings. I reckon my wife's vegetarian half was actually bigger. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Peak Condition Project - Sully: July 2011

http://thepeakconditionproject-sully.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 29, 2011. My thoughts on food at this stage have changed a lot especially around snacking. My old habits when hungry would have been to eat some chips or chocolate but i am now thinking more about fruit and vegetables as snacks and as the biggest thing on my plate(rather than the huge piece of meat). By the way, I have a new hero to look up to. He is a superhero and like to play Aussie Rules. Monday, July 25, 2011. Did one full pull-up tonight. Enough said. Saturday, July 23, 2011. Very busy...

http://thepeakconditionproject-allan.blogspot.com/2011/06/starting-pcp-proper.html

Thursday, 9 June 2011. 9 June 2011 at 17:51. Even i am looking to start exercise at 5.30 am, but for last 2 weeks after doing sets at 9 pm. I am just too exhausted to wake up at 5.30 . will try to change this on the weekend. 11 June 2011 at 18:39. Tiredness will come and go. Just keep doing things steadily. I wish I had systemized things earlier! Like cooking/weighing and freezing fixed portions of rice. Once you source your food, then you are set for the program. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, 5 July 2011. Doing an exercise where you need to stand on the resistence band, best to make sure it's secure. mine slipped from under my foot the this morning and the result was a mite painful. Also, tried some crossover moves during tthe skipping. didnt really go according to plan and managed to whip myself. i wonder if this would have been worse with a leather jump rope? Does this have any bearing on the decision to a buy leather jump rope? Now got a few marks Spartacus would be proud of!

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Ready, Steady, Go! That's it. I just came back from Royal Mirage Tagine (a Moroccan restaurant) to enjoy the last meal of the old Karim. Came back and given the timezone, it is now 12 AM Dubai time. Tomorrow seems to be a little easy though i am wondering if we should do exercises during the morning or the evening. Ropes were bought couple of days back so ready to embark on this crazy journey. My colleagues are aware of this and they will be watching out carefully the blog.

The Peak Condition Project- Fleur: COMPLETE!

http://thepeakconditionproject-fleur.blogspot.com/2011/08/complete.html

Wednesday, 31 August 2011. WOW, its over. This feels weird. I feel a bit like I'm on a come down. The past 3months have been intense, hard work, a little depressing at times, stressful, educational, liberating, triumphant, energetic, moody. a rollercoaster! I remember reading the closing statements of PCP'ers before me saying how they have changed their ways for the long term and I remember wondering what that would feel like and how on earth does a person get there! The 1500 maintanence skips are someth...

Tuesday, 15 December 2009. So Long and Thanks for All the Fish! I remember telling a physician friend about PCP at the start of this program, and he predicted that I would probably see little change compared to other participants that might have more weight to lose, or poor diet habits that need correcting. While he was right in that the changes in my body have been subtle. And I wasn't looking for huge shifts either). The real evolution isn't something that you can capture in a photo. Friday, April 16, 2010. The Ripped Lady Sings! Patrick sent us a final email yesterday (say it ain't so! I'm tearing up here! As usual, it was chock full of instructions and diagrams and motivational words - this time for maintaining our new selves. Four words from his message are now officially burned into my consciousness, and they will be my mantra when my mind spirals into the dark tunnel of body/weight/food anxiety: you are at last. Wednesday, June 1, 2011. I’m a little teary about this being my last post. I was even a little nostalgic doing my last work out on Sunday so I put on a yellow t-shirt in homage to my ‘jump rope for heart’ school days. I’ve needed a few days for all those endorphins to wear off so I can write something cohesive without punctuating every sentence with “Good job! Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Like Jenny, I want that COMPLETE stamp! Time to wrap it up. To say that I've tried to readopt some of my old habits, just to see what it's like, and I really, really. Don't want to eat the way I used to eat anymore. I think it's going to be so much easier because I'm not trying to enforce some external "ideal" of what I "should" eat, but I'm going to be eating what I actually want.
