The Peak Condition Project - Shivani: Day 84 - Bye, bye Joe.

http://thepeakconditionproject-shivani.blogspot.com/2010/04/day-84-bye-bye-joe.html

Thursday, April 8, 2010. Day 84 - Bye, bye Joe. This is what my hands feel like. My ring, which was sliding off my finger last week, won't budge now. My stomach is bloated, even in the morning, and my face looks puffy. I know my indulgence was a little out of control, but, come on now. Excess fluid be gone already! So let's be real. It's probably the coffee. Right? April 8, 2010 at 9:21 PM. Without a doubt it was the salt. Cool huh! April 9, 2010 at 9:41 AM. April 9, 2010 at 9:54 AM. Day 89 - One day more.

The Peak Condition Project - Shivani: Day 90 - Open Up Your BADASS CHAKRA

http://thepeakconditionproject-shivani.blogspot.com/2010/04/day-90-open-up-your-badass-chakra.html

Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Day 90 - Open Up Your BADASS CHAKRA. That's what I'm talking about. Day 90! I decided to do my badass/triumphant/queen of the world pose, though I'm not quite ready to impart "final" thoughts, just day 90 thoughts. Which means, lucky reader, that you can expect at least one more heart-wrenching, (Brazilian) poetic wax before this baby is officially complete. But here's how I feel now. Something I'll reflect on in the next few days. Like, maybe I'll start setting daily word ...

The Peak Condition Project - Shivani: Day 81 - Repenting

http://thepeakconditionproject-shivani.blogspot.com/2010/04/day-81-repenting.html

Monday, April 5, 2010. Day 81 - Repenting. The ressaca (hangover) lingers. Last night I continued to be a wreck on the couch, struggling through the grading of 100 papers (not an exaggeration). The lethargy and depression just intensified as the day went on, so I decided to meditate. As I sat in silent stillness, I listened to this stream of negative thoughts: "You suck! Why'd you have to get so sloppy? And the justifications for why I felt I needed to drink: "Everyone else is drinking! When your body is...

The Peak Condition Project - Marissa: Day 57: 3%

http://thepeakconditionproject-marissa.blogspot.com/2010/03/day-57-3.html

Friday, March 12, 2010. So I weighed in today- I know I'm not supposed to be checking my weight, but my scale has a bodyfat measurer in it (who knows how accurate, but it's the only one I've got), and you have to let it weigh you to get to the bodyfat percentage part. The good news is that I'm down 3% in bodyfat! Busts out happy dance:. March 12, 2010 at 7:32 PM. March 12, 2010 at 9:25 PM. March 20, 2010 at 5:35 AM. Gonna bust out a Booyah, circa 1995! The Peak Condition Project - Mickey: March 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-mickey.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Day 75 - Huh. A little physical therapy update. Last week my doctor recommended I see a PT. He said there was one in his office that was great. I thought about making an appointment with him, but it's a bit too far up-town and I figured if I have to go like 2-3x a week, I'd prefer one closer to my office. So I disregard his recommendation and begin my search. The lobby is a bit shady and shoddy looking and as it turns out — they are located on a 6th floor walk up! I mean seriousl...

The Peak Condition Project - Cory: January 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-cory.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 31, 2010. Even though things have been busy, I still wake up and do the exercises that are mapped out in my diet and for the most part I have stuck to the diet 100%. I am looking forward to getting settled and beginning a new year, at my new place. Everything is getting much easier but I am sure the time is coming where alot more is demanded from us. Take Care and Cheers! Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Sunday, January 24, 2010. Friday, January 22, 2010. Thursday, January 21, 2010. This week...

The Peak Condition Project - Helen Jane: April 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-helen.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 16, 2010. That went fast but slow. Hard but well, hard. I'm sad to say I didn't do this 100%. But I'm totally happy with my progress. I moved a household of four people and one dog during this process. As well, I have gone from having a 6 week old baby to a 4 month old baby. I've lost 26 pounds. Most importantly, I've learned how to eat again. Can't eat chips any more. I used to love them. Now they're disgusting. I'd rather have fruit. Friday, April 2, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://thepeakconditionproject-marissa.blogspot.com/2010/03/day-61-i-have-no-idea-what-time-it-is.html

Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Day 61: I have no idea what time it is. So Daylight Savings Time began again this weekend, and it always throws me for a loop. When DST is in effect, my body loses all sense of what time it is. I know it's only an hour's difference from standard time, but I become so time-disoriented! You know how you usually have some semi-accurate internal clock? On the plus side, it is 6:30pm and it's still gorgeously blue-skied outside. I love springtime. March 16, 2010 at 7:09 PM. The Peak Condition Project - Helen Jane: Day 73, Still at it

http://thepeakconditionproject-helen.blogspot.com/2010/03/day-73-still-at-it.html

Monday, March 29, 2010. Day 73, Still at it. Haven't been social mediaing re: PCP, but have continued eating and running. House is 80% unpacked. It's fun to have space. I have never been this busy in my life. I think I haven't come down with an illness because I'm eating so well. Normally two weeks of the activity I'm coming off of and I'd be in bed for a few days. My daughter had Cheetos from lunch and was "fake" feeding me and I bit into it. Cheetos were my favorite chip pre-PCP. Day 73, Still at it.

The Peak Condition Project - Mickey: Day 84 - Let the count down begin

http://thepeakconditionproject-mickey.blogspot.com/2010/04/day-84-let-count-down-begin.html

Thursday, April 8, 2010. Day 84 - Let the count down begin. Alrighty folks, 6 more days to go. The last couple of days have been quite exhausting with work, and teaching and capoeira, oh and of course, PCP. Patrick also asked us to share an ab exercise. Well I have always loved Gilad, ever since his Bodies in Motion days. I used to work out to this dvd a lot before the peak. It's more about toning the core. Here is a clip of it. Monday, March 22, 2010. Anyways, enough about that, how about some food pictures! Up until about 2 weeks ago, I would bring my breakfast to work at eat at my desk (along with lunch and dinner). However recently as I have been trying to do my jumprope in the morning, I'm also trying to eat breakfast at home so I don't have to bring so much to work (and not spend as much time there either :). March 24, 2010 at 3:44 AM. I also wish I could jump automatically in the mornings. When will that happen? The Peak ...

Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Over one Year Later. Just kidding. Of course you do. Well, here I am. It's been one year and some since I completed the PCP. Guess what, things are great! Do I still exercise? Yes I do. I completed Patrick's new program the Kung Fu Body this year- although I'm ashamed to say with no where near the gusto I had for the PCP. Why did I join this new program, you ask? Am I still mindful of what I eat? Yes- every frickin' day. Do I eat junk food? Am I still on the diet? If you need...

Thursday, September 17, 2009. Peaking. Conditioning. Projecting. This project shifted my perspective on the way I approach training, drive, and support. On day 90, I sat in the park and spent time with my sister, a loved one, and a snake. I couldn't ask for much more in life. Sunday, August 30, 2009. Tuesday, 15 December 2009. So Long and Thanks for All the Fish! I remember telling a physician friend about PCP at the start of this program, and he predicted that I would probably see little change compared to other participants that might have more weight to lose, or poor diet habits that need correcting. While he was right in that the changes in my body have been subtle. And I wasn't looking for huge shifts either). The real evolution isn't something that you can capture in a photo. Friday, September 2, 2011. Day 90 - End of Days. That 90 days went pretty quick - along with the rest of 2011. It is amazing what you can do with a little willpower and a bit of help from some guys who know what they are doing. I started the program on holiday in Bali on June 1st after our friends' wedding and although I was pretty strict on the exercises in the first week, I found it hard to restrict my eating to 1/2 portions as a lot of the eating was buffet style - and was soooo good.
