The Peak Condition Project - Allan: July 2011

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-allan.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 5 July 2011. Doing an exercise where you need to stand on the resistence band, best to make sure it's secure. mine slipped from under my foot the this morning and the result was a mite painful. Also, tried some crossover moves during tthe skipping. didnt really go according to plan and managed to whip myself. i wonder if this would have been worse with a leather jump rope? Does this have any bearing on the decision to a buy leather jump rope? Now got a few marks Spartacus would be proud of!

The Peak Condition Project - Allan: starting pcp proper

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-allan.blogspot.com/2011/06/starting-pcp-proper.html

Thursday, 9 June 2011. 9 June 2011 at 17:51. Even i am looking to start exercise at 5.30 am, but for last 2 weeks after doing sets at 9 pm. I am just too exhausted to wake up at 5.30 . will try to change this on the weekend. 11 June 2011 at 18:39. Tiredness will come and go. Just keep doing things steadily. I wish I had systemized things earlier! Like cooking/weighing and freezing fixed portions of rice. Once you source your food, then you are set for the program. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Ready, Steady, Go! That's it. I just came back from Royal Mirage Tagine (a Moroccan restaurant) to enjoy the last meal of the old Karim. Came back and given the timezone, it is now 12 AM Dubai time. Tomorrow seems to be a little easy though i am wondering if we should do exercises during the morning or the evening. Ropes were bought couple of days back so ready to embark on this crazy journey. My colleagues are aware of this and they will be watching out carefully the blog.

The Peak Condition Project - Sully: May 2011

http://thepeakconditionproject-sully.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. PCP - Day 1. My main reason on doing the PCP was because of my family. Being nearly 40 and having a young family is a little scary and I don't want my lack of fitness or unhealthiness to stop me from being able throw or kick the ball to my son when he wants to. The Peak Condition Project- Fleur: COMPLETE!

http://thepeakconditionproject-fleur.blogspot.com/2011/08/complete.html

Wednesday, 31 August 2011. WOW, its over. This feels weird. I feel a bit like I'm on a come down. The past 3months have been intense, hard work, a little depressing at times, stressful, educational, liberating, triumphant, energetic, moody. a rollercoaster! I remember reading the closing statements of PCP'ers before me saying how they have changed their ways for the long term and I remember wondering what that would feel like and how on earth does a person get there! The Peak Condition Project- Fleur: Day 71- Refelctive

http://thepeakconditionproject-fleur.blogspot.com/2011/08/day-71-refelctive.html

Thursday, 11 August 2011. So I let the yoke run out and I ate the white. I was so pleased that they accomodated me. I didn't want to skip another dinner. I've learned that there are knock on effects of doing that and I hope I don't ever do it again. Got to keep the metabolism active. So I've got 40 minutes of extra cardio everday now. My work outs are 90 minutes plus now. I wish there was some way I could buy some time! 11 August 2011 at 12:59. 11 August 2011 at 16:21. Restaurants can be good if you ask ...

The Peak Condition Project - Sully: PCP Day 80

http://thepeakconditionproject-sully.blogspot.com/2011/08/pcp-day-80.html

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. The plan was to go to an italian restaurant but ended up at Pizzakaya instead. Was very restrained and only had half a medium pizza with a side salad and a couple of chicken wings. I reckon my wife's vegetarian half was actually bigger. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://thepeakconditionproject-sully.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, August 27, 2011. PCP Day 88 - Shopping. Might have to go to a more price-conscious shop to get some more of the staple items ie. t-shirts and shorts. The shopping was obviously a little too much for Finn - he was zonked. The daycare at Citi, where I work, had their Matsuri festival yesterday which was really good fun. All the older kids were carrying the mini-shrine around the buildings and chanting. Looking forward to next year when Finn will be able to help with the carrying. Only 5 days left.

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I love my family, I love my friends! I love the PCP! It's been a while. A very long while, and a lot's happened in the meantime. I feel like so much of my life was already in a state of flux- first, with the PCP, my body started to change bit by bit, my habits along with it. Then my grandfather's health has been something I've had to learn to accept and to experience on a day to day basis- one day up, one day down, and not knowing what the next day will bring. I will miss all o...

Sunday, May 30, 2010. Wow This has been an extraordinary experience. In the last ninety days, i've worked out profusely, and jumped some mad rope every day, not to mention the amount of chicken, and chicken eggs i've consumed ( i really owe something to that species). I've listened to countless podcasts (mostly " Stuff You Should Know. And seen the dark beginnings of a lot of early mornings. I've been waiting to do this project since i saw Patrick's project. Sunday, September 27, 2009. Finally took some photos.I really do not like getting my picture taken.and will also take one in the fab new dress! Until then, thought this was a lovely shot of the dress itself. Seriously, would NEVER have tried this on before. An Endorsement and I missed you guys! The Peak Condition Project - Anshuman

Friday, November 6, 2009. The end of the beginning. Hi Everyone. The last post is coming up a bit late but i have still been grappling with the workouts and had a very busy week. I think it is normal to start with Thank You's but I would like to start with apologies. Sorry Patrick for such a late Day 90 post. It got inevitably late. I wanted to really think hard about it and then got a bit lazy and then a bit busy. Honestly, I don't have much excuse to offer. Here are the Vital Stats from before and After.
