The Peak Condition Project - Adrian and Emiko: September 2008

http://thepeakconditionproject-adrianemiko.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Emiko: Day 47, When Drawing a Line. I feel like this obsession is rooted in my low self-esteem regarding my body and ability. In the past, I have never had the will-power to follow a healthy diet or exercise with any regularity. This was probably mostly because I didn't believe. That I could change myself. Now that my life is changing so much, my attitude has also changed. Or has it? Adrian: Day 47, Resting. Sunday, September 28, 2008. Labels: 8 minute buns. Community on the ...

The Peak Condition Project - Adrian and Emiko: August 2008

Sunday, August 31, 2008. Emiko: Day 17, A New Yearn For The Burn. One thing I will pause to tell you about is the amazingness of cucumber water! Anyways, I should also mention the new, harderrrr exercises! Right before the new exercises came a couple of days ago, I was just starting to feel comfortable with most of the old ones. So of course we are offered a bigger challenge! I kind of shocked myself with that one. Today's jumps were not so crazy, but I made it over the required 1,500. I also struggled t...

http://thepeakconditionproject-adrianemiko.blogspot.com/2008/11/emiko-day-85-new-sense-of-satisfaction.html

Thursday, November 6, 2008. Emiko: Day 85, Six-Pack Shmix-Pack. It feels like forever since I have written a post, and really– it has kind of been forever! I missed writing about such milestones as my third and final indulgence (delicious, I will post more tomorrow), my feelings about reaching Day 80, and so on. I will try to post every day from now on to bring all of my last thoughts together before we reach Day 90.just 5 days away! So I may never have a six-pack, but who cares? Labels: 8 minute abs.

Monday, November 10, 2008. Emiko: Day 88, I Like To Eat, Eat, Eat Apples and Bananas. A lot has changed in this last week! Change, change, change! We also have a new President, which is really exciting and has returned some of my hope. We'll see what these next two, final PCP days bring. I can't believe that the Project will be over so soon! The Peak Condition Project - Nate: November 2008

http://thepeakconditionproject-nate.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 15, 2008. DAY 90 = PCP DONE. A long life of activity, vitality, wellness, and awareness just begun . . . So it is so hard to figure out how to make a quality, meaningful, and complete last post. But I'm going to do the best I can and hopefully update from time to time in the future. Once a month or so with thoughts on maintaining, new growth, and encouragement for any new PCP groups to come. So without further ado, here goes nothing! SECTION 1: PCP Mindset and changes. 10 Finally, you ...

The Peak Condition Project - Nate: 3 days left!

http://thepeakconditionproject-nate.blogspot.com/2008/11/3-days-left.html

Sunday, November 9, 2008. I'll be doing a long post tomorrow about our last week homework assignments. Plus I will probably start writing my day 90 post ahead of time because I have so much to explain. But for tonight I am off to get a TON of sleep because Patrick says that I should and that's way more permission than I need to sleep in after this crazy weekend. I never thought it was possible for me to sleep any better but I do. I went from being a great sleeper to being a PRO! What is the PCP? If you w...

The Peak Condition Project - Maki: Day 90 – Officially finished

http://thepeakconditionproject-maki.blogspot.com/2008/12/day-90-officially-finished.html

Saturday, December 6, 2008. Day 90 – Officially finished. I just finished doing my exercises and skipping which means I have completed PCP! I went back to Day 9 exercises and completed them within 20 minutes. I did get a good workout but obviously didn’t feel the “burn” as much as recent days due to the lower number of reps. But that means, my muscles has toned right? I am more than thrilled. Thank you all for your support and reading my rather dull blog! December 7, 2008 at 5:41 AM. PCP - Hama Mamas.

The Peak Condition Project - Maki: Day 89

http://thepeakconditionproject-maki.blogspot.com/2008/12/day-89.html

Saturday, December 6, 2008. Finished skipping and exercises just before midnight. It was tough but I am happy that I finished them. My arms feel as though they are twice the size though! Starting from 0, who would have thought that I would be skipping over 2000 skips without having have to catch my breath? Me doing push ups and sit ups? It just seems like yesterday that I asked my husband to explain how to do them properly. He could not believe how pathetic my muscles were! PCP - Hama Mamas.

The Peak Condition Project - Munisha: Countdown thoughts - #3 - INDULGENCE TIME!

http://thepeakconditionproject-munisha.blogspot.com/2008/12/countdown-thoughts-3-indulgence-time.html

Thursday, December 4, 2008. Countdown thoughts - #3 - INDULGENCE TIME! The only negative about indulging was picking my item to indulge in! 160;I always wanted to pick the perfect thing.  Not such a bad problem.and with each indulgence, I got quicker at picking.probably because I was so in need of one.  Can't wait for my first post-PCP indulgence - 90 days in.I know I deserve it! Only 2 more days to go. That was the most fun I have had being lost in a long time and I get lost a lot. Thanks.

The Peak Condition Project - Munisha: Countdown thoughts #2 - Cheating

http://thepeakconditionproject-munisha.blogspot.com/2008/12/countdown-thoughts-2-cheating.html

Friday, December 5, 2008. Countdown thoughts #2 - Cheating. This is it.the day before the last day! Last day of exercises in our book.wow.what a killer workout! I had to stop in the middle to take care of the baby, but was able to finish of before bed. So, yes, you can cheat and eat the wrong foods and skip the exercises, but is it really worth it? Are you getting away with something.NO.you're just cheating yourself! Not worth the guilt and, hey, 90 days is only 3 months. Tomorrow is the LAST DAY!

The Peak Condition Project - Patrick Reynolds: Day 122, Admitting Defeat

http://peakconditionproject.blogspot.com/2008/07/day-122-admitting-defeat.html

Sunday, July 20, 2008. Day 122, Admitting Defeat. Man, I just can't get these box splits. I've still got two inches to go and that's not going to be made up in the next three days, so I'm going to admit defeat right here. Sadly, I will not be doing this before the end of my Peak Condition Project. But I also enjoy the challenge and tonight I ordered a new book. About how to work with your nervous system to get the most out of your stretches. Here are some of the highlights from the table of contents:.

The Peak Condition Project - Patrick Reynolds: Day 117, Remember Day 47?

http://peakconditionproject.blogspot.com/2008/07/day-117-remember-day-47.html

Tuesday, July 15, 2008. Day 117, Remember Day 47? That was a long time ago, 70 days to be exact. It was just after I had lost 11 pounds of fat. One of the unexpected side-effects was that I was freezing my ass off. I hadn't realized how much extra warmth that layer of fat provided. Here's a cross section showing the subcutaneous fat layer undeneath the dermis. You see how it's all spongy and bubbly? Remind you of anything? ThePeakConditionProject (at) gmail.com. The Peak Condition Project - Patrick Reynolds: Day 113, Obesity

http://peakconditionproject.blogspot.com/2008/07/day-113-obesity.html

Friday, July 11, 2008. Day 113, Obesity. I like the online magazine Slate and usually cruise over there once a day to see if they've got any interesting articles running. Well tonight this is what I saw. (Click the pic to go to the story). With all the good things I've heard about WALL-E I was surprised by the headline, (which was of course the point) and as obesity and the environment are two things which really interest me, I dove right into the article even though I haven't seen the movie. Drink "cupc...

The Peak Condition Project - Patrick Reynolds: Day 118, There Was a Star Inside Me the Whole Time!

http://peakconditionproject.blogspot.com/2008/07/day-118-there-was-star-inside-me-whole.html

Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Day 118, There Was a Star Inside Me the Whole Time! All of the PCPers and I have been going on for weeks and weeks about how different we feel eating right, getting stronger, and learning how our bodies work. This project is definitely one of discovery. Some of the discoveries are just plain neato, and I've been meaning to share this one with you ever since I noticed it a few months ago after I lost all that weight. Can you see it? Starburst cartilage on chest? Anyway, I'm going...

The Peak Condition Project - Abby

Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Sorry it took a little while for this final post. I wanted a few days post-PCP to see how I would incorporate it into my everyday world and to process all my thoughts about this experience. First off, I cannot believe how amazing everyone looks! Thanks to Patrick and Chen for creating such a great program that actually works! I know that diet will be my number one downfall in maintaining all the progress I've made, but I also know that I am capable of eating healthy and being happy.

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I love my family, I love my friends! I love the PCP! It's been a while. A very long while, and a lot's happened in the meantime. I feel like so much of my life was already in a state of flux- first, with the PCP, my body started to change bit by bit, my habits along with it. Then my grandfather's health has been something I've had to learn to accept and to experience on a day to day basis- one day up, one day down, and not knowing what the next day will bring. Sunday, May 30, 2010. Wow This has been an extraordinary experience. In the last ninety days, i've worked out profusely, and jumped some mad rope every day, not to mention the amount of chicken, and chicken eggs i've consumed ( i really owe something to that species). I've listened to countless podcasts (mostly " Stuff You Should Know. And seen the dark beginnings of a lot of early mornings. I've been waiting to do this project since i saw Patrick's project.
