The Peak Condition Project - Abby

Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Sorry it took a little while for this final post. I wanted a few days post-PCP to see how I would incorporate it into my everyday world and to process all my thoughts about this experience. First off, I cannot believe how amazing everyone looks! Thanks to Patrick and Chen for creating such a great program that actually works! I know that diet will be my number one downfall in maintaining all the progress I've made, but I also know that I am capable of eating healthy and being happy.

The Peak Condition Project - Abby: Day 89

http://thepeakconditionproject-abby.blogspot.com/2010/05/day-89.html

Friday, May 28, 2010. After I did my set of shoulder, tricep, and bicep exercises, I thought my arms were going to fall off. As I was sweating it out, I though about how the workouts only last an hour tops, but the results last much longer. That thought alone is enough to give an hour of my day towards creating a healthy body. I got Watson's gift yesterday (Go Team, Go! And it was great. Perfect end to our PCP program. I won't ruin it for those that might not have gotten it yet. May 28, 2010 at 4:36 PM.

The Peak Condition Project - Abby: Day 85

http://thepeakconditionproject-abby.blogspot.com/2010/05/day-85.html

Monday, May 24, 2010. Hmmm I don't know which is harder. Planks, or v-sits. Those v-sits always make my abs burn like no other and I really can't imagine the day when I can do 400 easy peasy as Patrick alludes to in his email. I am excited about finding some new ab exercises to add to my workout and I've been perusing the women's health. Website. Pre-PCP, I loved looking at all the different types of workouts the website offered, and now I definitely plan on doing a few. May 24, 2010 at 4:40 PM. The Peak...

The Peak Condition Project - Abby: March 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-abby.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 31, 2010. I can't believe it's already the end of March. I know the next month is going to fly by with the end of college, choosing a law school, basically a lot of big life changes. In a way that's good because some of those pesky classes (upper level Hindi? Will finally be over, but also sad because I'll be leaving a place that's become a home base these past four years. I'm sure I'll write a sentimental, nostalgic blog when graduation finally comes, so sorry for this little preview.

The Peak Condition Project - Abby: Day 71

http://thepeakconditionproject-abby.blogspot.com/2010/05/day-71.html

Monday, May 10, 2010. Wow, this last week flew by. And between graduation parties and family outings, I'll admit, I was not living up to my PCP motto.which is basically, "do what Patrick says in his emails", haha. In the road be the end. But as enlightening as cleaning can be, I really wish I had a magic wand and my room would be perfect and clean right now. May 10, 2010 at 7:02 PM. One thing we have learned is that it is all about starting again. May 10, 2010 at 7:07 PM. May 10, 2010 at 7:12 PM. The Pea...

The Peak Condition Project - Alex: Day 81

http://thepeakconditionproject-alex.blogspot.com/2010/05/day-81.html

Thursday, May 20, 2010. Whew Finals week is next week. And it's been a pretty busy week in preparation. What was that phrase again? I think that would characterize this point in my journey. Both in school and the project. I spent 9 hours (mostly consecutive) of Wednesday working on a bunch of history homework i put off till the last minute, though i got some 8 min abs and the jumproping in first thing after i woke up. A great deal of uncertainty clouds my Summer, but i feel i can go confidently at least,...

The Peak Condition Project - Watson: April 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-watson.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 30, 2010. Day 61 - Band wisdom 4. 4 - eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. They not only taste great, they are nutrient dense foods containing many vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, and fiber protecting you from the aging effects of free radiacals. People were talking today about how I look. It is pleasant. I go zen early and often. Doctor gave me some B vitamin today. What si the PCP verdict on that. She has been a good source historically. The Peak Condition Project -Pam: Day 18

http://thepeakconditionproject-pam.blogspot.com/2010/03/day-18.html

Thursday, March 18, 2010. It's really been more than a week since I last posted. It's been a rough week with lots of things that needed to be done and a friend in crisis. I really appreciate all of your comments in the last post. Thanks for being there! I also went to the Asian food market and got some spring roll wraps, so this weekend I'm going to try to make spring rolls. I hope they are as good as I'm making them out to be in my head. The Peak Condition Project - Renfield: August 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-renfield.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Headed down to Patrick's House of Pain for a post- PCP visit. He should me some new ways to torture my muscles, like hand-stand-push-ups-into-80's-break-dancing-snake and YODO Abs. Also got a taste of Kung-Fu Body, which is going to, pardon the pun, kick ass! Probably start that after our family vacation to SF later this month. Will be nice and fattened up and slothful after two weeks in the states! Not bad at all, considering how much I binged this past weekend for my birthday.

The Peak Condition Project - Renfield: February 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-renfield.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 28, 2010. Trying not to think too much about what's coming up.but I am most certainly curious. Not sure what my Peak Condition really is, but I do know I will do my damnest to get as close to is as possible. Or, to put a truly zen spin on it, what I do is what I do, and whatever shape I become I guess IS my Peak Condition. Then again that sounds like an excuse for not trying very hard. Gotta spend time with the family. Would rather sleep than exercise. I'm in good enough shape anyway.

The Peak Condition Project - Watson: August 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-watson.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Friday, August 20, 2010. Fun pushup sets and running. I have been doing fun push up sets - all you need is the curb on the street. I do a set of incline 25 this week - I would like to see if I could get to 50. Then I go for my run. When I get back as I am cooling down I get parrallel to the street - one hand on the curb and one hand on the street and do what seem like lopsided pushups 0 I then go to the other side of the street and repeat -. The final set in a decline set. Then I do 8MA and am done.

Tuesday, April 13, 2010. A quick post to let y'all know I'm still here! Sorry for the hit and run post! Saturday, April 3, 2010. The Peak Condition Project - Alex: Day 88

http://thepeakconditionproject-alex.blogspot.com/2010/05/day-88.html

Thursday, May 27, 2010. Apparently Indra couldn't decide on what the weather should be today, and neither have i. My last day of school today. Like the weather, it shifted from slightly sunny to lightning bolts, and back again. It was good to see my friends and teachers one last time. I hope for many that it's not the last. Spent some of my day in limbo, some in discourse, and some in conversation. Almost no studying, and of course my Latin and History finals, respectively. Best of luck on your day 88's.

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I love my family, I love my friends! I love the PCP! It's been a while. A very long while, and a lot's happened in the meantime. I feel like so much of my life was already in a state of flux- first, with the PCP, my body started to change bit by bit, my habits along with it. Then my grandfather's health has been something I've had to learn to accept and to experience on a day to day basis- one day up, one day down, and not knowing what the next day will bring. I will miss all o...

Sunday, May 30, 2010. Wow This has been an extraordinary experience. In the last ninety days, i've worked out profusely, and jumped some mad rope every day, not to mention the amount of chicken, and chicken eggs i've consumed ( i really owe something to that species). I've listened to countless podcasts (mostly " Stuff You Should Know. And seen the dark beginnings of a lot of early mornings. I've been waiting to do this project since i saw Patrick's project.
