The Peak Condition Project - Phil

Sunday, 15 May 2011. Back to the blog. So I have been away from the blog for a while. Apologies for that. Work has slightly taken over in the last few weeks and some other parts of life seem to have come to the forefront and taken over. It's been a strange last part of the PCP and I definitely hold my hands up to not getting the most out of the last push to the end. That said, I take some comfort in the fact that my body has never been in better shape and my diet is still going strong. Monday, 2 May 2011.

The Peak Condition Project - Phil: I'm back

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-phil.blogspot.com/2011/04/im-back.html

Thursday, 14 April 2011. And just in time for day 45 - the half way mark. First day of going full out on all the exercises following a crazy bout of the flu - and four days of inactivity. I'm thinking it was similar to a mini-vacation and now its fifth gear for the second half. So here are some of the cool things I have noticed after 45 days of a great diet and exercise. 1 My belt is three holes in from when I started. 2 I can get through my 75 minute tennis lesson without gasping for air at the end.

The Peak Condition Project - Phil: We are in the lead.......

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-phil.blogspot.com/2011/04/we-are-in-lead.html

Sunday, 17 April 2011. We are in the lead. It hit me today, with the graduation (is that the right word) of the previous group, we are now leading the pack for the new PCP'ers. The baton has passed and it just goes to show how well we are doing in getting through the programme. Today was my second double PCP work-out. I'm going to try and do 9 workouts a week until the end. My gut is being incredibly stubborn, and I'm gonna have to crank it up I reckon. 17 April 2011 at 16:45. 18 April 2011 at 10:25.

The Peak Condition Project - Phil: Day 1-45: A+, Day 45-60: F-, Day 60-90: Back to A+

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-phil.blogspot.com/2011/05/day-1-45-day-45-60-f-day-60-90-back-to.html

Monday, 2 May 2011. Day 1-45: A , Day 45-60: F-, Day 60-90: Back to A. I also feel I have lost a lot of muscle over the last two weeks so I am now very committed to make the most of this last month. I wander if doing two sets of exercises will fast track my progress? Needless to say I have some big work ahead of me to make sure I get to a better place by Day 90. I will post a new post-sick pic later this evening. Ok, I feel slightly less guilty for the failures now. Off to exercise now. The Peak Conditio...

Tuesday, 26 April 2011. A to I to V.and dreaded food poisoning. I am hoping the remainder of the programme is disaster free. Fingers crossed. Saturday, 23 April 2011. Long weekend is here. Well the long weekend is here.finally. It's been another crazy week at work and balancing the work load and the exercise has been a bit of a struggle. I had to work yesterday and so hoping to find some more dedicated PCP time over the next few days. Sunday, 17 April 2011. We are in the lead. It's nice to see their ener...

The Peak Condition Project - Phil: March 2011

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-phil.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 30 March 2011. Ok, so in usual Phil fashion, I've lost the cable that links my camera to my laptop, so picture of this week taken and hopefully it'll be up in the next day or so. I think my body has now finally adapted to the food regime and I can't say I have any serious cravings any more. That's pretty impressive given the folk in my office have a table dedicated to cookies and cakes and pop. Luckily they all know about my diet so even if I wanted to cheat, I couldn't get away with it. That'...

Sunday, May 15, 2011. Went for a dip. In the pool this morning and did lengths followed by 8 min abs. Ricky, I reckon that allows me a cheeky beer for your bday tonight. Have a strong week y'all. The peak condition project Billy: day 37

http://thepeakconditionproject-billy.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-37.html

Wednesday, 6 April 2011. Swapped the skipping for a 5k run on the treadmill today, pushed it hard and was dripping with sweat at the end and had a nice swim to cool down. More pistol squats tonight, they look easy on the picture but mine are very wobbly, I imagine by the end of pcp we will be doing them like dancing cossacks but for now the support is getting some heavy leaning on! 6 April 2011 at 05:27. 6 April 2011 at 08:14. The Peak Condition Project - Mark: Plugging away

http://thepeakconditionproject-mark.blogspot.com/2011/05/plugging-away.html

Thursday, May 5, 2011. Happy to report that I've put in a textbook PCP week thus far (minus the blogging - a combination of spending too much time tapping on a keyboard during work hours at the moment and a dodgy laptop at home) and more of the same planned for the wkend. Hope all are doing well. May 5, 2011 at 9:16 AM. It always feels good to get in a perfect week! May 5, 2011 at 2:27 PM. Youll be richly rewarded for your efforts! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Peak Condition Project - Ricky: Day 88 - Two Roads

http://thepeakconditionproject-ricky.blogspot.com/2011/05/day-88-two-roads.html

Thursday, May 26, 2011. Day 88 - Two Roads. Today is a new day and it's a beautiful one at that. I slept for 8hrs last night. I also ate an egg tart . Something i wanted to write about, but Robert Frost say's it so much better . TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,. And sorry I could not travel both. And be one traveler, long I stood. And looked down one as far as I could. To where it bent in the undergrowth;. Then took the other, as just as fair,. And having perhaps the better claim,. Robert Frost, from...

The Peak Condition Project - Ricky: Day 71: Saturation....

http://thepeakconditionproject-ricky.blogspot.com/2011/05/day-71-saturation.html

Monday, May 9, 2011. Now we all have those things that we love to hate, those things that we dread, we think about, we don't wanna think about, we think about and we build up the awful nature of what it actually is, a hindrance to our overall calm state of mind. I think you all know what I'm talking about. Legs and Shoulder sessions! Seriously, it must be big, or just gets over heated easily - 'Saturation' would be an understatement! I'm off to the beach. http://thepeakconditionproject-shirley.blogspot.com/2011/05/day-68-love-your-body.html

Saturday, May 7, 2011. Day 68 : Love your body. So we are in the last quarter of PCP, and i'm finally beginning to see some real results! Took some photos this morning and was pleased to see a little bit of definition in my abs - nothing like 6 pack or anything but at least 2 is starting to show thru. I'm one step closer to looking like my inspiration figure Adriana Lima! More reason to LOVE 8min abs ;-) It's great to do something fun and rewarding at the same time. Will post those pics up shortly. PCP h...

Monday, April 11, 2011. Day 42: 1h sleep.never felt better! Last night I couldn't fall asleep until 6am.too bad my alarm was set at 7 and only had an hour sleep. I could already see myself falling asleep in front of the computer. Strange enough, I had never been in better shape! I did 1200 jumps in a row for the first time since I started PCP.without even tripping on the rope, I was very impressed with myself! So better go to bed now. April 11, 2011 at 1:37 PM. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Another week has passed and everyday comments on how thin or how well I look are heard more often. Indulgence has taken place since during the weekend I wasn’t feeling well and now my girlfriend is with the flu, I’ll wait so that we can have a nice night out to a restaurant; really looking forward to it. The Peak Condition Project Matt: The scales say I've lost 8.2 KGs

http://thepeakconditionproject-mattm.blogspot.com/2011/04/scales-say-ive-lost-82-kgs.html

The scales say I've lost 8.2 KGs. Which is awesome - very happy with that. I need to find some time to go through my cupboards to find old clothes. Bad news is I just pulled a 21 hour shift at work, no skipping today. But I got the job done. Back on the horse tomorrow. I'm looking forward to what the new diet has in store. And catch up on sleeeeeeeeeep. April 11, 2011 at 4:47 PM. Great effort on the weightloss dude, but I really think you should make more of an effort at the office. Matt this is great!

Friday, July 10, 2009. Monday, June 8, 2009. はじめてで...

Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Day 90 - COMPLETE! I don't know exactly what to say. I know I am going to be short and sweet on this blog that is for sure. I am off in an hour and a half for a 14 hour flight to NY. My first non-PCP meal is going to be airline food! I will post the final pics in a few days and say some more but for now, I can just say, I am so amazed at this program, the results and honestly, what I was able to accomplish! From January 1st of this year, I lost a total of 19.5 kilos / 43 lbs.

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Day 90 - It's just the beginning. Day 90 (Rather Day 92! Anyhow, this 90-days challenge is really quite cool, and aside the physical change, the PCP had brought about more realization on myself that am sure, will help me in my future endeavours. 1) Discipline - Outside in vs Inside out. 2) Public declaration / support / reminder. 3) Not-too-short term project. Saturday, May 28, 2011. There is an expression that goes “Courage in the face of humility”. You’ve all shown this by openly and honestly revealing yourself, physically and emotionally, for all to see – This take courage…. I think you all rock! PCP and Patrick …. It rocks and it gives you the opportunity for something special and unique that is not out there – It takes Nutrition, Exercise, Education, Self Awareness and presents it with no BS – You do it for yourself. Nice one Patrick, and Thank You….

Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Day - 90 - The END. Ladies and Gents,. Its been a great adventure! 90 days have come and gone very fast, too fast in fact! But I almost enjoyed every moment.yes I did have a few "sense of humour failures", but all in all I loved it! I think the most important lesson I learned with PCP is that diet is so verry important, I have also learned to use spices in a better way and eat unsalted foods.which would have been un heard of before. Well done to all of you that finished the PCP!

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Elsewhere, I've never blogged in my life up to this point in time but really found the practice to be almost therapeutic at some level. The weekly questions from the group and video round-up were great. Into the routine, will scale-back the number of workouts slightly but add some stretching / yoga and a bit more running in as well. Thursday, 2 June 2011. Well here it is. The pictures don't lie. PCP really works. 1 I did actually learn. This is not just a mumbo-jumbo diet where you live on just ginko nuts for three months but a full-on practical education into nutrition. You think you know about what is healthy? 2 I needed to do a detox. 3 Food had stopped being special. 4 PCP is accessible. 5 You can eat seven times a day. And still lose weight. That's pretty cool. 7 Low sodium is painfully tedious: I still have bouts of sense of h...
