The Peak Condition Project - Greenie & Wei: May 2011

http://thepeakconditionproject-greenieandwei.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 31 May 2011. Day 47 - Back from Boston with a few pleasant surprises. So back from Boston for my brother's wedding. It was a fun event, with a mix of Chinese and Western activities including door games, tea ceremony, reception and picnic. Greenie and I tried to stay on diet, but a few little hurdles, or distractions from the strict diet:. 1) No scales for any public events. 2) You gotta eat the cake! No need for explanation. Hey! It's my brother's wedding! The cake was massive! Despite these two...

The Peak Condition Project - Greenie & Wei: April 2011

Saturday, 30 April 2011. Day 16 - off the beaten (PCP) track. grandma passed away. Tuesday, 26 April 2011. Day 12 - Hungry. Saturday, 23 April 2011. Day 9 - exercise done; food prepped till dinner. One larger discrepancy we did notice between our meals last night though was that Wei gets 90g of carbs whereas Greenie only gets 50g - Wei almost double! Here's a picture of Greenie's pasta last night, with salsa and grilled chicken. She had practically no pasta with all that salsa and chicken. haha. Hrmm loo...

Saturday, April 30, 2011. Any way feeling great looking forward to more. Good night sleep helps too. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. 13 days down. I had to do one without my scale, because I dropped it. I think it went fine and I picked up a new one with grams so I don't have to convert to ounces. When is the rest of the world going to stop using metric anyway? Here's breakfast with out the scale. Looks about right. Monday, April 25, 2011. Sunday, April 24, 2011. I'm sure at some poi...

The Peak Condition Project - David: Day 76 - The real indulgence

http://thepeakconditionproject-davideb.blogspot.com/2011/06/day-76-real-indulgence.html

Thursday, June 30, 2011. Day 76 - The real indulgence. This indulgence ended up being the same as my first. Four slices of pizza with lots of cheese and pepperoni from my favorite pizza joint in the town where I grew up. It was very tasty going down, but. Salt = dry mouth. Eat bad food, feel bad. Eat healthy food, feel healthy. June 30, 2011 at 7:06 AM. Agree 100%. The indulgences taste good, but teach valuable lessons at a cost! July 2, 2011 at 4:44 AM. Right on the money! Day 76 - The real indulgence.

Saturday, June 11, 2011. After being really disciplined with the PCP, last days have been tough! Ive been working hard and getting home late and doing the exercise hasnt been my best option. Unfortunately Ive missed exercise in two ocassions and I feel bad. Next week is going to be better I promise! June 13, 2011 at 6:44 AM. Well, its next week. Make this and the rest better ones! June 13, 2011 at 3:52 PM. June 24, 2011 at 7:40 PM. You still with us? June 26, 2011 at 10:40 AM. How are you doing?

http://thepeakconditionproject-teo.blogspot.com/2011/06/day-76-and-indulgence.html

Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Day 76 And Indulgence. The work outs are getting tough. 60 chin ups damn. And I have been having a hard time with doing lots of planks at the end of the work out, but the other day I was able to pull off the 5 90 second planks which felt great. I'm sure there's more to talk about, but that's all for now. June 29, 2011 at 7:02 PM. I think your indulgence sounds fantastic! I love PB&Js (hot fudge sundaes also)! It burned burned burned! The Peak Condition Project - Lori: Day 90 (late)

http://thepeakconditionproject-lori.blogspot.com/2011/07/day-90-late.html

Wednesday, July 20, 2011. So this post is a week late. I hate to be this far behind. I had an incident that left me with a slight concission and a huge knot on my head and the rest of the week out of the office (unPCP related). Anyway, well on the road to recovery and started working out again on Monday. I am very thankful for all the support of my great group and friends that were past PCP and non PCP people and especially Patrick! July 20, 2011 at 4:15 PM. July 20, 2011 at 6:27 PM. Thursday, June 30, 2011. Also, I really enjoy the jump rope so I started doing 7x3 earlier this week. At this point it is pretty easy so it is no problem. I am averaging around 800 jumps per 7 minutes. The number of jumps is not really critical although I find that counting helps make the time go by. Day 76 - The real indulgence. Salt = dry mouth. Eat bad food, feel bad. Eat healthy food, feel healthy. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Day 72 - Indulgence. A side of seaweed was a perfect compliment. BTW, I comple...

Thursday, June 16, 2011. I'd like to say happy birthday to my biggest PCP cheerleader and supporter who isn't even part of PCP. It's one of my best girlfriend's birthday today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICTORIA! June 16, 2011 at 6:15 PM. I only nag because I want you to succeed and am unbelievably proud of what you have achieved! Monday, July 4, 2011. Ugghhhh, no f& king idea what day it is. I am so over PCP today. I'm drenched in sweat, feel like I am about to die of a brain aneurysm and I want to vomit! Hope every one had a better day :-) I usually don't complain but Patrick always says blog it out and since my PCP is almost done I felt like I should get one good one in! July 4, 2011 at 9:24 AM. Keep it up, I promise should you die in a heap I will fly over and straighten your hair before anyone sees you! July 4, 2011 at 5:57 PM.

http://thepeakconditionproject-jackie.blogspot.com/2011/04/day-7-thurs-21st.html

Thursday, 21 April 2011. Day 7 - Thurs 21st. Half a bowl of red seedless grapes. It's easy to just gobble this stuff down. I think it's mostly water content? I hope so, I ate a lot of them the past two days. actually I just bought some more - it's really cheap right now :). Small penne bolognese (yum! The other half of my bowl of grapes. But before dinner): chocolate Easter eggs! Sorry I don't have a photo of it, I ate it too quickly for that :D. Half a bowl of fish ball noodle soup. YAY 500 skips done!

Thursday, 5 November 2009. We made it ! 12288;Then・・・・.

Apr 15, 2011. Completed Day 90 - Final photo and some lessons learnt. Okay, so time for the final reveal. Let's start with photos from Day 5:. I wish that I could say that I was sticking my stomach out for effect in this shot. Certainly an improvement. sadly not on the hairline, but we can't expect miracles. So, what have I learnt from this adventure? My apologies in advance if some of these seem to be doused in cliche). If something is worth doing, it's worth doing properly. Thanks a lot for that great program! You guys change our lives (we hope for ever) and we feel so much better. Long life PCP (and PCPers). Saturday, June 4, 2011. Patrick, you should like that one :. Perseverance : "You can't let go and still win". Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Day 90 : Pics. Weight wise, not that we care, I've stabilized pretty quickly at 82 Kg from 85.5 (maybe more 87) but dropped at least one size, almost two in jeans. easy to see on the pics above. My waist is pretty different! Day 92 : And?

Saturday, October 2, 2010. It's day 91 and there are peppermint patty and pb cup wrappers strewn all over my apt. .PSYCH! In all fairness, with me that's totally possible. :P Heck, on the day I met Brett (team running rats, who told me about the pcp), I offered him pork rinds and pringles at 9AM. When he said no, I just figured PRP wasn't everybody's idea of breakfast. Little did I know. I'm sure he was probably disgusted. 1) WWSD - what would sarah do. 2) There I said it, now I have to do it. I take sto...

Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Day 90: The Loneliness at the Peak. Well, that's not the title you expected, was it? Yesterday marked 90 days for me. I guess now I get a big "COMPLETE" stamp on my blog header (I've told Patrick I'd prefer updated pictures since the me of 90 days ago looks a little different than the me of today). Saturday, October 2, 2010. What I've learned - pt. 1 - food. So I'm done. I still can't believe that I made it. I've been so hungry. The fiber is an amazing wonder. Before doing pcp, I was aware in an abstract way that food is the body's fuel and that what you eat affects how you feel, but since I'd always been eating the same things I couldn't really see how better food makes you feel better. Now I've felt it and lived it and it's so clear how much what you eat affects how you feel. 91 Day 90 wrap up.

Tuesday, October 27, 2009. What I ate and what I didn't. On the birthday I consumed:. One glass of champagne. A bite of a donut - I normally would have finished the donut even if it was horrible but I couldn't help but think 'it is sooo not worth it'. I had this box of Belgian chocolates that came with a birthday gift. I gave all the chocolate away except for one piece. Had one bite and then threw the rest away. Tonight I run. Whee! Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Day 3 - PCP redux. Well, folks -. After a great PCP, I've slipped off the wagon. I was hamstrung twice - once with my father dying three weeks after PCP ended, and twice with the development of Achilles tendinitis almost immediately after I started getting back on track (which, truthfully, I could have worked around. Equally truthfully, I didn't. Instead I sulked and overindulged). Eventually, it occurred to me that waiting. Thursday, April 15, 2010. Well, first off -. It ha...
