Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Take advantage of learning opportunities. Language learning can happen in day to day situations. Missionaries can teach their companions not only words, but whole phrases. Repetition makes a difference. Babies learns to understand words after they have heard them about 200 times. An adult has to use a word about 20 to 40 before it is a permanent part of their vocabulary. Words cease to need translation. Tortillas. Adios. Friday, April 5, 2013. LDS Missionaries Serving in Ecuador! Thursday, July 15, 2010. Here is the latest photo of Tungurahua volcano. The authorities said that a large amount of lava is building up. The people of the surrounding Pueblos (Towns) are preparing to evacuate. They have already moved all of the animals out of these towns. Also, the ash from the volcano is killing the crops.
