Sunday, November 1, 2009. Day 92: End Title. Well, this is it—my final post to this blog, which has been a part of my life for three full months. What can I say—it has been an incredible journey! The Peak Condition Project - E: October 2009

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-e.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Friday, October 30, 2009. Today is all wrong. That just seems to be the best way to describe it. No jumps. No strength exercises. No measuring the food. No portion allotments. Nothing. Although I was loathe to do so, I took a break from the PCP lifestyle due to much encouragement for the contrary. I guess the best way to think of is as another experiment in indulgences. So, what have I snacked on so far? 8212Some swiss and munster cheese (about 7 pieces). 8212Two donut holes (a plain and a powdered).

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-e.blogspot.com/2009/10/day-86-its-been-six-whole-hours-and.html

Sunday, October 25, 2009. Day 86: Its Been Six Whole Hours And Five Long Days For All Your Lies To Come Undone [T-Minus 4]. We interrupt this blog post with this brief announcement. And now we return you back to the regularly sceduled post. Oh yeah. Gyms. During that stint I saw a lot of people there and many different kinds of habits. Here are some of the things I learned:. The only people who go to the gym in the early morning are business men. The weightlifting section contains mostly the muscle-bound...

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-e.blogspot.com/2009/10/day-88-it-takes-trust-it-takes-just-bit.html

Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Day 88: It Takes Trust. It Takes Just A Bit More And We're Done. [T-Minus 2]. The super-sets just whipped my butt tonight&#8212especially the "V-Sit/Plank" combination. On the upside, it takes me a bit longer to reach failure! Plus, there's no worry about me going to bed earlier tonight. I am exhausted! Every weekday morning I receive a Note from the Universe. Today's missive was one of those. And when we get together, you can see that motto in full force. She moaned. I cou...

Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Day 89: Harder Faster Better Stronger [T-Minus 1]. I survived the super-set! Or maybe I should call it the super-duper-set! It's time for some silliness! I present to you a couple of videos with what could be a PCP anthem. The lyrics are:. Work it harder, make it better. Do it faster, makes us stronger. More than ever, hour after. Our work is never over. First up is "Daft Hands":. October 29, 2009 at 4:25 AM. Ah, ha - now we know the secret to your success! Day 81: Isnt It St...

The Peak Condition Project - Amy W: September 2009

http://thepeakconditionproject-amyw.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 27, 2009. Finally took some photos.I really do not like getting my picture taken.and will also take one in the fab new dress! Until then, thought this was a lovely shot of the dress itself. Seriously, would NEVER have tried this on before. An Endorsement and I missed you guys! As we connected with folks, there were a few questions and comments that were heard quite often and most of all, I thought that the sleep deprivation would do me in. You see, as a new parent, there is so much you ...

Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Tomorrow when I go I'll have to poke my head in the gym so I can do my homework. Also, day EIGHTY ONE? The heck did that happen? October 20, 2009 at 7:18 PM. Dude, I used to work getting multilateral aid to the education sector of Turkmenistan. Did you just pull that out of your ass? October 20, 2009 at 8:47 PM. Do you know Iveta? Nah, for real a lot of comparative education is about Africa, but what isnt is about the post-Soviets, so yeah, thats what I read about.

The Peak Condition Project - Amy W: A lovely start to week 6

http://thepeakconditionproject-amyw.blogspot.com/2009/09/lovely-start-to-week-6.html

Sunday, September 6, 2009. A lovely start to week 6. A lovely start to week 6, and the labor day weekend. Not sure that I did the Pistol Squat right, but they were tough as can be. 1400 jumps, and the line up right after at the end of a glorious and simple day. Had a great walk and time with a friend on Friday afternoon. Hung out with the Mr and the girls on Saturday morning and late afternoon. Got clear again on some life priorities and staying true to who we are and how we want to live. The Peak Condit...

Monday, November 9, 2009. Thing is, isn't like every treat in aisle 5 the same thing? Some fat, some sugar, some flavor. Why do people get grossed out at berries covered in crisco but chow down a Little Debbie cupcake? I say good luck to everyone else, this was fun, keep at it and enjoy life. Patrick, sorry about the delay, last week was.eventful. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There are really just two types of people:. Hose who say 'I can't' and those who say 'I can'.". The Peak Condition Project - Mike: Day 83 - Goals Smoals

http://thepeakconditionproject-mike.blogspot.com/2009/10/day-83-goals-smoals.html

Thursday, October 22, 2009. Day 83 - Goals Smoals. The latest Zen is Stupid touched on something that I think about a lot. The discussion was about what we set goals for, and how goals themselves can become an attachment. As I near the end of my PCP, I thought I might reflect on this here. I've thought about this in two areas: fitness and education. I'll start with fitness. My goal with the PCP was to get in excellent shape, that I would carry through the winter. Do you see what's happened there? I've go...

Monday, August 31, 2009. Guest post by my little sister (Day 31). 31 days ago Jessica said "NO! Her one time friends are now her foes. Fritos, Tostidos, and even Cheetos. Are now on her list of things to veto. She no longer channels Danny DeVito. She flexes her muscles and sticks out her bum. Coz diet and exercise are barrels of fun. V-sits, planks, lunges and squats. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. I'm no Superman (Day 60). Today I was walking home from the library past some apartment complexes when I smelled a strong concentration of natural gas. "That's odd," I thought. I waited for the smell to dissipate but it instead increased in intensity and spread up the street. I began debating what to do. Should I tell someone? Should I ignore it? I could save children! Do you know what that is across the street? They asked. "Uh.an electrical building? I've been flossing every...

Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Day 89 Or Day 84. PCP Blues! Just read E's entry for T-2. He is the Sean of our group. Am pretty excited for him and for everyone of us but i have done something which is pretty disappointing. It might have something to do with the fear of what lies beyond PCP but it could just be a rationalization that my mind is coming up with. Here is what happened. October 28, 2009 at 11:09 AM. Just the smallest bit of pok choy you can imagine :). (This was the only PCP friendly stuff). Cheese Cake (Generous Serving) Dessert Wine. Even the PCP indulgence was not as bad as this one. Friday, April 15, 2011. Day 90 Pics @ 73-75kg and 17% body fat. Time for some new trousers. Inspired by Vittorio-though not as impressive. Fitter,certainly-though more gormless. Eating healthily is simple. I really like and want to eat vegetables. I really like eating (at least) 6 times a day. The connection between my diet and my body is real, if I eat crap I look crap. Going to the gym without eating carefully is useless. I always knew I liked skipping for a good reason. An average apple weighs 170gms.

Monday, August 30, 2010. This program has brought me back to myself. Through a combination of common sense diet, simple (and hard) exercise, and the support of incredible people who live around the world, I was able to make decisions that lead me back to life. Look at this elegant babe:. Naoko, my sweet age mate. Royce, shooting star blazing and gone. Elena, elegant striving New Yorker. Jenny, honest, beautiful yearning young woman. Kowhai, down under loyal, plain speaking achiever. To strive for the Peak.

Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Eat your greens.Adios. Eat your greens Denise….Day 90. WOW….can’t believe it has been 90 days since we all started this amazing journey. I bet that most of us choose different reasons for doing this program. For me…several factors were in play. Fat loss: I had been slowly gaining weight. Over the past 3 years. Even though I was exercising (running on treadmill, elliptical and some (loosely used term) free weights. SO, here are some not so scientific observations:. Improved s...

Thursday, 1 September 2011. Training isn't enough . but it is this week. Hey all, sorry it has been so long (Patrick forgive me) . I've managed to grab an hour a day for the exercises and so have been completing almost everything. I am really chuffed that I have continued to fit it in. Sunday, December 13, 2009. Before I wax poetic and all that about this experience, I really want to express my gratitude to . . . My halfside, Pacato, the best teammate EVER (who never broke a sweat no matter what kind of mood I threw at him). Can't say I have anything more original to say than what has already been said, but I can detail what going through and completing the PCP has done for me:. Perhaps the time reference will tell you where this is headed. He had the sense to ask me how my PCP was going now that I have a baby. My answer: not well. The thing is, I sleep in spurts, I’m exhausted, and I just can’t give it all I’ve got. As Patrick said, why risk getting sick and why bother...So, Patrick’s...
