The Peak Condition Project - Bryan French

Saturday, September 5, 2009. End of the Beginning. It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society. But typically, it was just cereal, sandwich, pasta. This past week, I ate more vegetables than I typically would, more fruit, more meat, less carbs. Normally go to bed at 11 and wake up at 7? Didn't get to sleep until 3am? No worries, just wake up at 10 or 11, you'll be fine," Is what I hear/heard. That's not true in the ******* least. Not for me, anyway. Even though...So, schoo...

The Peak Condition Project - Bryan French: July 2009

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-bryan.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 31, 2009. Title says it all. It's not the same as it used to be, though. But I guess considering that it went through the equivalent of having a massive stroke, then slipping into a coma for a month to be completely resuscitated in an afternoon, I really can't complain. I think I'm gonna write a post about why I decided to join the PCP, soon. It seems appropriate given that we've all been grinding our wheels lately. I didn't go over the edge and have a panic attack - and like most of the hig...

The Peak Condition Project - Bryan French: Hm... so... apparently math isn't my strong point.....

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-bryan.blogspot.com/2009/08/hm-so-apparently-math-isnt-my-strong.html

Sunday, August 23, 2009. Hm so apparently math isn't my strong point. So we have 5 days instead of 7? And I have a confession to make. This past week has been terrible. I collapsed, and then the week kept kicking me in the ribs. Oh, also, I didn't eat the last two indulgences, is that bad? Also, it's been epically hot here. Well, maybe not epically, but hot enough that it plays havoc with my digestive system and sleep. To everyone: good luck, we're not finished yet. August 23, 2009 at 8:37 PM. Man, those...

http://thepeakconditionproject-matthew.blogspot.com/2009/08/im-back-safe-and-sound-from-my.html

Tuesday, August 25, 2009. I'm back, safe and sound, from my adventures in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I thought about writing this as a concluding entry for my PCP, but. I climbed the summit of Mt. Jefferson! In the thunder and rain! So I won't have a super-amazing body by the end of my PCP, but I have realized that I am capable of greater feats than I imagine for myself, and that's a great point of motivation to push myself towards ever greater advancements. Monday, August 31, 2009. As Patrick says, 'Peak' Condition indeed! Thursday, August 27, 2009. No numbers, no numbers, no numbers. Wednesday, August 26, 2009. One of the 'unfortunate' consequences of my PCP? Finding pants that are a good fit! When the waist is perfect, the thighs are too fitted and when the thighs are perfect, the waist is too big! Laughs* Ah well, it could be worse :P. Well the god of bell curves must have smiled upon me, because I received a 70! Tuesday, August 25, 2009. So I won't have...

The Peak Condition Project - Matthew Baxter: June 2009

http://thepeakconditionproject-matthew.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html

Monday, June 29, 2009. I think that's going to be it for the jump rope for at least today. I was just approaching the 200 mark when the rope snagged itself on my foot. Of course my forearms were still moving in rotation so when the rope pulled taught, the wrist I sprained was jerked into an awkward and immediately painful angle. ARGH! I'll still get my fat-burning cardio in, it'll just have to be on the elliptical when I visit the gym this afternoon. Mariah Carey's 'Touch My Body (Seamus Haji Club Mix).

http://thepeakconditionproject-jeremiah.blogspot.com/2009/09/ok-so-90-came-and-went.html

Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Ok… So 90 came and went. So you may or probably may not be asking yourself, why hasn’t Jeremiah posted his last post.  There are two reasons:. As always I am on the road. I couldn’t find my camera. So I am going to tell you my story and add shot from someone else because I have that. So lets get real. What did I achieve:. I lost 15 lbs.  . I am now a size 33 jeans down from 36. I am a size 16.5 dress shirt down from 17.5 . I had to get my glasses tightened. I suck at pull ups.

Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Day 90 - End of Days - the result. Its all done and dusted, and I have to say PCP produced better results than I was expecting. The program got the one part of my fitness/health lifestyle into some level of control. There were days where cravings got the better of me, and I had a bit of chocolate here and a beer there, but for the most part I stayed the course. Total Body Fat -24%. Visceral Fat -14.5%. Basal Metabolism - 2024 cal. Muscle Mass - 34.0%. Subcutaneous Fat - 16.2%.

Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Reflections on the last 90 days. There's a lot to sum up; a great deal- of me- has changed in the last few months. Let's start with the numbers. Body Fat %: 23 (est.). Body Fat %: 11.7. Total weight lost: 24.4 lbs. Total pounds of fat lost: 21.6 lbs. Hmm a little baggy. That's more like it. This is just as important as any of the pseudo-intellectual babel you're going to read later, so let's do it first. And not, "Wow! You're so skinny now! To everyone who reacted with, "Wow!

Monday, May 31, 2010. Keep climbing: PCP Wrap up. A celebratory holiday weekend is coming to a close. The BBQ yesterday was joyous and I indulged in pork ribs, chorizo sausage, and a few beers. Stayed up late with my friends and family and reveled in the summer weather. Today I'm feeling pretty fine and ready to step well into the post-PCP world. Let's examine the evidence. I submit to you the following. I was perpetually overweight, out of shape, and heavy to 100% of my friends and family. They had ...

Friday, March 6, 2009. The easiest thing about PCP is diving into some of my guilty pleasures. of which I have so many. Like listening to music I usually would be embarrassed to have on my ipod, like the new Brittany Spears album, awesome beats for working out. Last night was the season finale and they were in the top 2, but ended up losing to quest crew :(. Tuesday, March 3, 2009. So we are just over half way, can you believe it! I can't. The truth is I've secretly been wanting to challenge myself to a break from drinking and focus more on exercise for a long time and PCP's slightly cooler than AA. It's great not waking up with a hangover everyday wondering what the hell you wrote on facebook. or posted on pcp! Was that my ass? Yes, it was. Oh geez, not again.

Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Day 69: Out and About. I live in a great city for people-watching. It's so small and dense that the streets are always full of people. Well-dressed bankers scurrying on their lunch breaks. Chic high school students smoking outside the Lycée Ampère. People strolling down Rue de la République. Under all those designer duds. No amount of high-end makeup or custom tailoring can make a stressed, exhausted person who doesn't eat properly and never exercises look. Kept my composure...
